@bros20000 No, just the contract is due March 11. Housing and roommate preferences are due July 1.

The MyStatus Housing tab says: You have been offered a housing contract. Please be sure to accept your contract. Where is the contract found?
still no change, it stilll says March 1st
We paid the 50$ housing fee would that entitle for a housing contract?
@UmaSridhar You can’t receive a housing contract without accepting your offer of admission and paying the $200 enrollment deposit
@Sleepywombat have you logged in to check “My Housing?” There’s a link here:

Has UT sent out any financial aid information to anyone? also where can i apply for loans? i know FAFSA will allow me to get a certain amount of a loan but where can I get a loan that will cover my whole tuition?
Word is that financial aid offers will be sent out at the end of March, possibly week of March 26.
Clarify what you mean @RileyM .
Help! I’m admitted from California - have no idea how UT works, so CC will once again be my savior - but I’m strongly considering attending. However I’m not sure yet and have to see the other acceptances roll in before deciding. That being said, will I lose out on a chance to get good housing or any housing on campus if I don’t pay down the hefty deposit?
@kkpita1 Hello…we meet again!
Have you applied for housing? The original date of housing application is what determines your priority in housing assignments. If you’re planning to live on campus and already submitted your housing application, you already have your place in line.
@flomomom no - because I’m not positive about UT until I see other acceptances!! Am I doomed to an awful housing assignment or no housing at all if I wait until April?
@kkpita1 D1 neglected to do housing application when she applied to UT 2 yrs ago. She decided to attend UT mid Feb and withdrawing enrollment at another university. At that point, I was recommended to secure housing in West Campus. Was on long waiting list but she got into Callaway in a 4 X 4.
D2 is also waiting for other acceptances. However, she did housing application ($50) when she applied to UT. She already has a housing contract. She’s going to try a traditional dorm. She too is waiting though for decisions from Cali schools.
I would recommend that you call housing and see what your situation will be if you wait any longer. The other solution is go to into off campus dorms like Castilian or Callaway (not sure how long wait list is). If you wait too long, all the off campus dorms will be filled.
The $50 housing application fee is nonrefundable, but the $200 enrollment fee and the $300 housing deposit are refundable if you cancel your enrollment decision and housing contract by May 1.
@kkpita1 Go ahead and apply for housing TODAY! It’s only $50 (nonrefundable, but a small drop in your big college bucket!) and reserves your place in line while you decide.
@TexasexMom @Flomomom Thank you - I would have had no idea! My housing app is in.
I applied for orientation for June 4-6 and it said go to “what I owe” but when I click that link, it says I owe nothing. Anyone else???
Hey guy, I am very confused about what petition for placement is vs petition for credit?
@whoop2022 I signed my daughter up for the same orientation, and I think I know what you’re talking about. I had to manually type in the amount that I owed, then it let me proceed to checkout.
