Was expecting to at least get waitlisted after achieving a 4.0 GPA. I guess for a middle class white man that is not enough. I am curious to what else could have been done to actually get in. You would think that Virginia would want an out of state student since they help provide a diverse student environment and also pay way more in tuition. It amazes me how college admissions works.
Accepted to engineering. I had the checkbox on myUVA. Now I have to decide between VT mech, UVA mech, and (though it’s the lowest on my list) UMD aero.
