I think we might be receiving an update on the blog soon. If last year has any correlation with this one then maybe tomorrow (or this week) we will get an update saying when they will be releasing decisions.
“As we get closer to May 1, we wanted to wish you all good luck towards the end of your semester. Classes will be ending soon and exams will be the final caps on this term for you. Keep those grades up, or work hard to improve your grades if there’s room to do so. It is extremely important for everyone to do this -no matter your admissions decision. I’m coming from the University of Oklahoma and I applied to a few other VA schools.
@puncherkid @BowTy14 I don’t think anyone has an email in their personal information, it is only after you get accepted that you set up your email. Everyone today was just getting excited and looking for answers haha.

@puncherkid its that Friday is coming and they have had consistency in the past when it comes to releasing Fridays before the first. That being said, last year was on the 30th (Wednesday) as I recall. Every response I’ve read by the moderator has leaned towards the 1st because of the 2400~ applicants, but their responses were kind of dated mid April so a lot can happen in 1-2 weeks. You never really know.
I wish I could walk into UVA and when I take a tour, I could look into a windowed room where all the reviewers are located. I wonder if you would see diligent work or half of them slaving away through applications while the other half have died of starvation from reading so many lol.
Does anyone know if choosing an alternative major helps? Is it likely to be accepted as the alternative major if application as the primary major is turned down?
I still don’t have the checkmark…is that okay?
