I didn’t submit midterm Bc mine are not available, but do you think it’s a good idea to send a small chart of all my grades because they are looking pretty good.
At this point, I’m not sure. It was meant to be a midterm report but now were 2/3 of the way through the semester.
I didn’t submit my midterms either. Clemson doesn’t have any, and with 20 credit hours this semester, I keep forgetting to ask my professors to send in separate course evals. I hope that doesn’t affect me too much
Yeh but my thought process is they will see all A’s with a A- and three prereqs werein there/
I didn’t submit midterm evals. I already had 3 semesters of straight A’s so idk what it would change. I read on the transfer blog that they really don’t put that much weight into them bc grades can change drastically in a semester. However, for those applying to be 2nd years I’d say it might matter more than for 3rd years.
Just added 3 new recent experiences / awards that should’ve been on my common app before. Idk if UVA will see the update but I can try.

Let me know what you think!
@cocteautwins we need to keep our hopes down dean literally said it doesn’t mean anything and the decisions aren’t even in the system.
My portal changed today from no financial info found to inquiry access denied- pretty sure it’s gonna happen to everyone soon
If you look at previous years’ threads, you’ll find out that inquiry access denied is an 100% indicator for acceptance. However, no financial aid information doesn’t mean rejection. I don’t really think that will change for this year.
And I think it’s impossible for admission office to tell you that means acceptance before official acceptance letter comes out…They really cannot just tell you that is an indicator for acceptance.
We have been through this…the decisions aren’t even decided yet and aren’t in the system. Check out the UVA transfer post
@transfer1212 Even though I asked the question on the blog, I kinda think that it might still be an indicator for a few reasons. Sure decisions aren’t processed in the system, but I’ve been researching what “inquiry access denied” means and what I’ve found is that students and newly accepted students get this when their financial aid information hasn’t finished processing. What that means for people who have that message now is that they’ve been added into UVA’s list of people who might get fin aid from the university and the university hasn’t finished processing aid packages. I think it’s like an unofficial form of acceptance because you’re basically in the system for fin aid from the university. That’s my two cents on it though.
Also I wouldn’t think that the dean wouldn’t flat out say that “Yes, this is a form of acceptance” because that would only freak people out even more, causing people to call and ask about the financial aid. It would all just be a big mess if they confirmed it.
does anyone who did not apply for financial aid have “inquiry access denied?”
@Zalo11 Agreed. I agree with that reasoning because I was skeptical, but this bug was there last year and I doubt they did not fix it in a years time. There is no point in stressing it because it just adds to people’s tensions.
@vaschools I just checked my daughter’s account. She’s applying as an in-state transfer for second year (she is a freshman at a 4 year LA college out of state but we are local). She did NOT apply for financial aid and until today that section said “no financial aid found.” Now it says “inquiry acess denied.” I am not putting much stock in this info either way, but want those who are tracking it to have the data. Will update when decisions come in.
@l2kids what are her stats?
did anyone last year get in with “no financial info found” or did everyone who got in only have “inquiry access denied”?
