UVA Fall 2019 Transfer Thread

@gnpy123 2020

This is all interesting
 and stressing me out LOL

2020 @gnpy123

does everyone have inquiry access denied for both 2020 and 2019 listed?

Just 2019

I guess the inquiry access denied was from last year since everyone else who applied for fin aid and has it is showing 2020 not 2019. Looks like those who didn’t apply are prob in the dark until April 26.

@hopefulboy37 2020

@uvatransfer2019 that makes a lot more sense. I went from being certain about a denial to back in the dark lol.

@hopefulboy37 I have it for both 2019 and 2020

So of the people who have “Inquiry Access Denied,” which of you applied to McIntire? Also has anybody been asked to do an interview over the phone this year?

@novarunner97 I applied to McIntire, have “Inquiry Access Denied” for 2020 and have not been asked for a phone interview yet. Judging by last year’s thread, phone interviews went out this week assuming everyone was truthful about it.

@WatchYouWant did you apply for Financial aid?

So what I’m understanding
 If you didn’t apply for financial aid, the inquiry access denied doesn’t matter? Will my SIS continue to say No financial aid information found?

@busybee1234 that’s what i’m going with even though one person who didn’t apply for fin aid supposedly has inquiry access denied

guys I think I really messed up my application because I just realized that I didnt really put any of my high school extra curricular in my application because I thought that they will be irrelevant im really sad now but I’m applying as a junior and I know that might be less of value but any thoughts?

@yeezytaughtme1 from what it sounds like they have inquiry access denied from the previous application cycle and not this one. It would at least explain why he has 2019 and everyone else has 2020.

@ndcuva while it certainly may help an application to have High School ECs, you’re applying as a junior which means they don’t even look at high school performance anyways. Unless you did something huge in HS it’s probably not worth worrying about.

@klm63amg I did apply for financial aid and am out-of-state if that helps at all.

I have zero extra curriculars and “inquiry access denied” so don’t worry too much about extra curriculars— although if I get in my spot is most likely gonna be given to a waitlist because I’d rather attend William and Mary. I’ll let you guys know if I get in and am giving up the spot

@ndcuva I don’t think my daughter put anything from high school, given that she is a freshman in college. It didn’t even occur to either of us!
