The email my son got yesterday said he will receive a housing contract in two daysā€¦ That would be during the weekend tho?

S24 was accepted on a Friday and couldnā€™t log into the housing website until Tuesday around noon. I called Wisconsin housing on Monday after we spent Saturday and Sunday trying to log in and they said it took two business days for the new status to get updated in the housing database. Around that time, he also received a letter from housing.

For what itā€™s worth, my sister lived in Chadbourne in 2022 and it was not social at allā€¦ and the rooms were insanely small. She could hold hands with her roommate while lying in bed. Also, if you are choosing a dorm for AC itā€™s important to know that the temperature is centrally managed and the rooms while air conditioned are pretty warm and very muggy.

She moved to OGG second semester and loved it. Much more social. I am sure it is year to year to some extent.

Daughter was offered for arts and sciences. No merit, housing guaranteed. Has to reply by. 7/18. She will decline.

I really think it varies year to year and by student. We know a number of students who enjoyed living in Chadbourne (and most dorms for that matter). Rooms are small. My kid was in Sellery, rooms also very small.
