I have a friend who is a well-known actor/producer in Vancouver – give me a day or two to get some info from him.

Here is the information from my friend in Vancouver:
Vancouver Film School is very expensive … a private profit-driven corporation that has the odd decent instructor but, by and large, is very expensive for the amount of time and instruction one receives there … it would be cheaper and, perhaps, more instructive to attend one of the public institutions … Langara College or Douglas College in nearby New Westminster or one of the universities (UBC or Simon Fraser or University of Victoria (out on the island) for decent tuitions, longer exposure and professional teachers. Quality also varies greatly from program to program … acting, directing, writing … the only program that is close to world class would be their new Make-up program that was supposed to have state of the art equipment and excellent pro teachers (award-winning) as in Emmies.

Any idea about the sound design for visual media program?
