<p>I’m joining the TOP 20 CLUB! I was kind of upset because i got rejected from a summer program, then lo and behold i find a vandy acceptance in my mailbox. Now I’m in *omg i can’t believe i got accepted yes yes YES! land haha =)</p>

<p>had you gotten a letter saying something like “before we can make a final decision on your admission we would like for you to send us your spring grades.” </p>
<p>i was curious if they just said screw it we will admit them even though we havent seen their grades.

<p>i was never asked to send in anything else and i didnt. there’s a difference between waitlisted and a spring grade request. It says somehwere on vandys website that waitlisted students are applicants that are deemed qualified for accepteance, but they can fit everyone so they must choose who to let in and who to waitlist. with a grade request, the addmissions office needs more info to deterimine whether or not you are fit for acceptance</p>

<p>i wrote a letter to express my gratitude for not being rejected and because i never saw the letter since i am at school. i didnt know if there was something in the letter i had to send back to confirm my spot on the waitlist. i recieved a letter in the mail</p>
