<p>so castiel have you decided upon Cornell? I thought I had read earlier that you had but I can’t recall exactly. By the way I went to a campus tour at Vandy just today like an hour after I got my decision, it was awsome!! I feel like I’m going to have a really amazing time!</p>
<p>And I really hope you will going to have an even better time at Cornell! (if thats where you are planning to go!)
So now I’m just waiting upon Vandy’s financial Aid and the acceptance letter so I can send in the deposit with the form.</p>
<p>I’m praying to either get into Cornell or get off the wait list for Vandy. I’d be really happy at either…but my parents would be really happy with me at Cornell since it’s so close to home lol. I find out on Monday and after having Vandy wait list me I’m not too optimistic. I’m really grateful that we have awesome state schools in NYS and that I got into all the best ones but I’m at a cc right now and I really would love to attend a private research university with all the resources and ability to do research with professors, take part in credit internships etc…</p>
<p>I really hope the trend with getting off of the wait list continues. And I hope the rest of you still waiting receive good news!</p>
<p>Also, Talha318, I knew you’d get in! Well at least I was rooting for you the most because you were the one person on the thread that stuck out the most in your strong desire to attend! Congratulations!</p>
<p>hahah well i am 99% sure I am going to cornell, and that other 1% is for penn. haha im glad you like vandy. Did it feel different seeing the campus as an accepted student?</p>

<p>out of curiosity for those accepted and have received the letter until what date did they give you to reply until? I got until June 10th.</p>
<p>I haven’t recieved the physical letter yet. However I’m guessing the reply data is relevant to when they send out the letter.</p>

I think you’d probably like Vandy over Cornell but they are both exceptional schools!

<p>@talha318 Well it was just a question of curiosity and I received mine on April 16th so they definitely gave me a lot of time. I was waiting on other schools however I decided Vanderbilt is my number 1 and will be attending and will not wait for others to reply.</p>

I think we can call ILR on Monday for a decision but if I’m rejected idk if I want to hear it on the phone…</p>
<p>@talha318: I hear back from Cornell Monday (supposedly)…I hear back from Vandy whenever they decide to accept me off the wait list or just reject me :-/</p>

<p>counselors at vandy are really great, and a few people found their admissions decisions through the counselor before receiving the letter… me being one of them</p>

<p>@ Sarzilla - have you talked to your advisor? You should call him/her and see what they say about you sending in a letter of continued interest? That way he’ll know your still eager to go there and haven’t admitted defeat! I have a feeling you’ll get in Sarzillaaa! Watch an acceptance letter be in the mail for you on monday! (also have you accepted a place upon the waitlist? you have to I think send in a letter back to them or call them stating that you accept the waitlist position). Pluss I got my acceptance letter in the mail today!! Im sooo stokedddd! </p>
<p>@Finnegan- wow they did give you alot of time! I just got my letter in the mail today, it was post marked yesterday haha the 30th I live 5mins from the campus, but It says I have to repond by may 17th so they gave me like 2 weeks to let them know, less than I thought they would. However I’m 99.99% sure Im attending so its all good. </p>
<p>@ MUengmaj - If i still hadn’t heard back I would have called them by now and asked for my decision from my counselor. They will let you know your decision as long as a decision letter has been mailed and is on its way. Before that they cannot tell you over the phone.</p>

<p>The mistake with my application has thrown everything off for me. I’m so worried. At this point, the letter will come when it comes. I want to go to Vandy SO badly!</p>
