<p>I’m probably more curious than concerned at this point. I really don’t know much about the school to be honest. I left Boston College after 3 semesters and have been interning for the past 2 years so I’m definitely curious as to what it’s going to be like transferring in as a 22 yr old from the northeast.<br>
Can anyone shed any light on what the scene is like at Vandy? I’ve heard frats are big but I’d imagine you can kind of pick your spots and still have a good time. Don’t really know what to expect from the “southern feel” but it sounds like people are pretty nice. I’m going down to visit in a week or 2. Still not positive as to where I’m going to end up.</p>
<p>how long does it take for them to send me the official acceptance package? also, does it include the financial aid package with the letter?</p>

<p>I mailed the deposit on a Saturday, and I couldn’t log in until nine days later. I checked every single day went a littly nutty in anticipation – so turn it in ASAP! </p>

<p>@sar, follow up that letter with a call to your counselor, maybe get a recommendation from a new professor, preferably about something that other profs haven’t written about and just stay in regular contact with them. I’m not sure if it’s true, but someone said waitlistees are unranked, in that case, you should express as much interest as possible. Just try not to appear too desperate; although that may be hard

<p>Hi guys. I am really confused about housing, is that for sure that all transfer students will be assigned to Kissam. btw, I am tranfering to vanderbilt as a freshman, so can i choose other houses for first year students or do i have to go to kissam which is said to be not so well?</p>
