UVA announced they will release EA results on Friday, January 31st around 5pm. So, unlikely VT will release EA results on the same day (unless someone here has heard otherwise). Hope the VT EA folks don’t have to wait TOO long for results. Good luck to all waiting! VT is a great school!

I know that (someone here already posted about that). But that has usually not been the case. And won’t be released on the same date this year. At least, VT hasn’t indicated they plan to release on January 31st (when UVA will release EA decisions)

I highly doubt it, as my wife called last week and they said to expect the decisions mid-February.

I wouldn’t trust what Admissions says. Many offices stand by what’s online when asked, even if they’re releasing that same day. For the past years, Juan Espinoza has announced decision release the day prior on his Twitter/X, so I’d expect that again (though I think he started in a different role this year, so maybe not?). Anyway, my guess now is Feb 7 but time will tell.

Unsure how VT handles it specifically, but for other schools there were often signs/indications before.

Yeah for some others the portal changed in small ways (e.g., buttons disappearing etc) when it was getting close. I guess no one sees any changes to the VT portal?

I was hoping they’d suprise us today. But I know it’s probably Feb 7 or 14.

does anyone know if its possible to update the SSAR with mid year grades for VT? I’m too scared to press any buttons on that application page!
