Got the FAFSA email too
Have you completed FAFSA? We did not get the email but have completed filling it out
No, we didnât complete it.
We got the email, it was in SPAM folder
Did parents get this email or student?
Actually the email we received was in January confirming the completion of the general application for aid and sent to my daughter
My son received it today through his school email.
Did not receive any fafsa info session email. Curious, what does the email include?
Did he apply with his school email?
yes
Just listed VT FAFSA workshop dates
This was sent to my son and we did not complete the FAFSA so it would make sense to NOT get this if you already completed it.
Out of curiosity. has anyone received this who DID complete it?
Completed our FAFSA a while ago and didnât get it.
FYI, to be eligible for Merit at Virginia Tech and possibly other schools, youâll need to complete the FAFSA, but at Virginia Tech you definitely have toâŠ
Also, I believe on the Common App, providing your SSN# is listed as optional, so my son did not provide last year. Well, that caused a delay in linking his FAFSA with Virginia Tech and receiving Merit, but wasnât an issue at other schools, which was frustratingâŠ
completed fasfa and still received that email
I completed FAFSA but not the General Scholarship Application. I got a reminder to complete both. Also got a âUs + You = One of our favorite equations this Valentineâs Day!â and âoffering Zoom FAFSA sessionsâ.
I know better than to read anything into this, after SBU asked me for my t-shirt size and then deferred me the next day lol
My son received this email today and they just sent another to both parents reminding to complete FAFSA for scholarships. We did not submit FAFSA.
We received the college of science valentines. The FAFSA. I believe we logged into a Financial Aid page somewhere and saw they had our FAFSA. Though we donât qualify for anything.
filled out FAFSA but it doesnât show up anywhere on the portal. Where do you see as received? Valentine email, yes. FAFSA, no. Hoping that doesnât mean anything.
