<p>If you have ideas about a major, you could make an appointment to speak with someone in that department. My son got some great info from his department chair.</p>

<p>If you’re going to meet with someone, you should make up a list of questions to ask, so that are prepared and really appear to be interested. Depending on the person you talk to, some people have a canned “speech” they can give you, but others really are wanting to hear your questions. (or ask your parents what kinds of questions they would ask). These meetings usually give you the best idea of the school. What are you considering majoring in?</p>
