Waitlists -- Will this year be different?

For these schools, are the pulls in state or OOS? Definitely know some kids who are hoping but we assumed OOS would get pulled first.

Whatever they are short on – in state or OOS – is what they pull. Of course, they could need both…

UGA pulled a small group from the waitlist last Friday. The majority were OOS, per the admissions blog.

Seems like if they miss the call they send an email asking the student to call or set up a time for a call.

Likely oos and then full pay in state. WLs are not need blind.

Anyone hearing of kids getting off the Harvard waitlist yet? Letter said notification by May 29th but wondering if there is any movement as they review, if at all they are reaching into WL this year.

They begin rereviewing WL applications after the May 1st commit deadline because then they will know how many people are committing and how many free spots they have.

Unless their commitment date was pushed back to 5/15 . Some schools are even 6/1.
