Accepted and curious if merit awards came out with acceptance or do they come later?
Our Financial Aid info came just yesterday - so about a week after acceptance. My daughter received a merit scholarship (Presidential in Dance) and that came a bit earlier - she found out about her acceptane last Friday 3/21 and then she found out she received the scholarship on Tuesday 3/25. Then, the full financial letter/info came yesterday in her portal.

Wake gives only a few big merit awards, and you would already know if your student was going to receive one of them.

Those awarded merit have until April 15th to accept or request an extension, so alternates for those scholarships could still receive an award if the initial recipients turn them down.
DD on waitlist for Wake, so weāre visiting campus May 2-3, just in case.

Campus was beautiful. People were friendly. There was a golf course for students! Movement on the wait list would be nice!
Thanks! But they didnāt mention anything about going to the WL or any expectations at this point? (I realize itās super early still, just trying to help a friend.)
We had an unofficial visit over a weekend and didnāt speak with the administration.

Full-pay but my family encountered serious problems last month so I may have to ask for aid and Iām not sure how that will affect my offer status.
Btw by āupdatingā I meant I sent a loci to my regional AO. Thereās no place for you to submit one in the portal and I believe this might be the reason I got off so early.
