I submitted my application on September 26, and everything was in by the 12th (I had to harass a teacher to get a rec done). I did my interview on the 16th — do you think I’ll get a decision today?

I think everything including interview has to be in by the end of September in order to hear by the end of October.

How do you know it’s tonight and not 10/31? Decisions come out around 7 pm eastern.

DD accepted! Application was in including video interview and all components before end of Sept. Portal was updated at 7pm for her tonight.

Last year, November decisions came out on the Friday before Thanksgiving at around 7pm. Of course, my daughter didn’t check her email and was out late, and I was up Saturday morning hearing that decisions had gone out
 anxiously waiting for her to wake up and check her email/portal


I hadn’t thought they would be going out that early because the chatter was that they might go out the Wednesday before Tgiving (when Tgiving was the last Friday), but not a full week before. But they did. So if it’s the same as last year, it will be Nov 21st. Good luck!

Also wondering if everyone who got their materials fully in by the end of September did actually hear this weekend? Or was it like August-September, when the admissions office couldn’t get through everyone?

Last year it was the Friday before Thanksgiving at 7pm. But it varied in the years before so not sure.

I don’t remember if my daughter got an email last year
she was out and horrible about checking email anyway
.and only checked her portal Saturday morning when she woke up and I told her I’d heard on “my listservs” that decisions were out!

Wondering if anyone knows when Wake will release decisions for ED applications submitted in October? I was hoping it was last Friday, given the Thanksgiving holiday break but still hopeful that we’ll hear before Thursday.

I saw on IG that decisions have been released a few days ago. Anyone knows when? Were those ED1?

I think that was just advertisement to get people to apply early. In the video they talk about early ED. as far as we have heard nothing has come out since the Sept and Oct waves.

For those accepted to Wake in recent years, how many AP classes did your child take? Just curious what they are expecting to see. (At a Rigorous public HS that offers APs Junior and senior year.)
