Walking Dead 2014

Did anyone notice the actor who played Merle (Michael Rooker) as Yondu in the Guardians of the Galaxy?

I wonder if the person in the woods is Morgan? After all, he’s supposedly out there somewhere…

I read somewhere that Daryl Dixon is in mid 30s-early 40s and Carol is early-to-mid 40s - so yeah, she’s a little old for him. However Beth is 18 - way too young for Daryl. Then again, it’s slim pickings for single young people looking for a suitable match in the zombie apocalypse.

Walker Merle:

I liked the potential Daryl-Beth relationship, I don’t really know why though.

I loved Merle and was sorry to see him go - yeah, he was a racist sexist jerk, but he was hilarious.

The actor who plays Daryl is 45.
The actress who plays Carol is 49.
The actress who plays Beth is 29.

I am in favor of Daryl having a harem: Carol as senior wife, Beth as junior. ;)

The actress who plays Beth looks 18!!!

^^ I know! I just assumed that Beth was supposed to be in her twenties until I read an interview with Emily Kinney (the actress who plays Beth), who mentioned that her character was 18 years old in season 4.

Twenty more minutes until we see Beth again…!

This tweet made me LOL -> https://twitter.com/KRockCarsen/status/529105533589291008

If you have DirectTv you may want to give them a ring.

They’re selling a compendium of the WD comics in the Costco where I shop…had to stop myself from reading ahead and creating my own spoilers, even though the show doesn’t always follow the same story line.

The show this season is very effective with the cliff hangers. But I think its obvious now that the person who comes out of the woods with Daryl is the young man from the hospital.

And is Carol really injured or is this going to turn out to be a ruse to get inside and find Beth?

I hope it’s a ruse to get inside - because if it’s not, and Carole really is badly hurt, then that’s a little disturbing. I prefer to think that Daryl et al are lurking in the shadows, waiting to come in with guns blazing - because that policewoman Dawn deserves the Daryl/Rick/Michonne treatment.

Of course, by the look of the previews, we won’t find out next week, since it looks like the next episode is all about the guys on the bus.

Maybe it is a child with Daryl? Someone we haven’t met? Idle speculation on my part. I find it hard to believe that Carol or Beth would be so reluctant to come out and be with the group. How old was Morgan’s son? I can’t remember.

Morgan’s son would still be a child - but he’s dead (or undead…) When Rick and Morgan had that reunion in Season 4 (I think it was), Morgan said that his son was killed by Morgan’s zombie wife.

I agree - I don’t think it’s Carol or Beth in the woods with Daryl. I just don’t know who it is.Maybe Noah from the hospital…

Have you seen this? A Halloween Haunted House at Universal Studios based on the prison in Walking Dead - this is a 5 minute video of two employees from the ‘Ellen’ TV show walking through the attraction:

Bumping this thread after last night’s episode - what did y’all think of Eugene’s big reveal?

I have to say, I had guessed his secret a few episodes ago, but it was still a shock. I don’t know if Abraham can handle this.

“Dolphin smooth”!

I suspected this was coming too…remember Eugene didn’t want to leave the church when Abraham wanted to. It leaves this group with a pretty weak story line (and Abraham and his posse were always of less interest to me than Rick and his group) so its hard to see where they go from here except back to try to find the people they left behind.

Could have used a little more development to Abraham’s back story. What happened in that store with all the bodies? Abraham killed everyone over food and his family runs away from him?

Maybe Glenn becomes the new leader as Abraham withdraws. Or maybe the show starts a much-needed winnowing of main characters by wiping out all or some of this group in the next couple episodes.
