Way to go, Mavs!

Have you seen the Nets lately? They have been systematically dismantled over the years since they reached the finals several years ago. Hence the reason J. Kidd threw his tantrums to be traded. Yeah, now they have a new owner and will be moving to Brooklyn. But until they decide to build the team properly again, nothing will change.

That’s nothing. The Clippers have NEVER made the NBA finals in the entire history of the team. In the twenty six years since moving to LA, the Clippers have made the playoffs only four times and have finished only three seasons with a winning record.

The Lakers own LA. The Clippers organization does not care about the fans, and the fans return the favor. Woe to the player who gets traded to the LA Clippers.

kitty–how nuts is it that the Nets are moving to Brooklyn? The Prudential is a fantastic home for them–heck, if it can successfully, with the aid of the Devils, support hockey in the middle of Newark, how can basketball not thrive there?

garland ~ Right? I haven’t been to the Pru Center, but both my kids have and have said how easy it is to get there - much easier than the Meadowlands. So now they will be more like the Clippers and Lakers. Two teams in NY, although different boroughs and granted, different arenas. Eh, they have lost me anyway. I was hoping the new owner would make a difference, but it hasn’t seemed to.

Bumping for good luck, but ds2 has altered the family dynamic by watching the game with friends so I’m blaming him if the Mavs lose.

Come on Mavs. 8 minutes, bring it home. Interestingly Terry and Berea are carrying the load. I always thought Berea was underrated.

I don’t like the NBA, but I will happily laugh at Labron James.

way to go!

Lebron still didn’t get it done, even with Wade and Bosh as his teammates.

WHAT BOIZ!!! WOOOO! GO DALLAS!!! THEY DESERVED IT!

Sorry…I’m really happy right now :D

What a great moment for Dallas - class act Dirk and teammates!

Appreciated Duane Wade at least congratulating his opponents. Not a LeBron fan. Not before, definitely not now.

I was wrong - YAAAAAAAY!!! Dirk, you da man!

Barea and Tyler came alive in game 5 and 6.

Thrilled for Dallas! Despise the Heat! Take your talents home, LeBron!

Dirk Nowitzki is my new hero! It has been a long time since a white guy has been made MVP. COOL! Congratulations MAVS!

My hero is Jason Terry - but I know his mother.

Won with class…and surprisingly, the classiest move of the night was Mark Cuban inviting the man who brought the Mavs to Dallas in 1980, Don Carter, and his wife on stage to accept the trophy.

So happy for these guys!

Downtown Dallas is going crazy- 25 thousand plus celebrating outside American Airlines Arena

^^ How exciting! There’s nothing quite like Title Night! Congrats Mavs!

Phew! Ds lives since the Mavs won.

Off to watch the postgame stuff I missed fetching him from the sports bar!

This girl here in Ohio is very happy to say Congrats Dallas…and no, I don’t hate Lebron, I just think his “decision” was egotistical theatrics.

And to the Heat, Lebron was born in Akron Ohio and everyone around here knows Ohio is cursed when it comes to sports so I think he carries the curse in his blood. Lol Can you say choke?
