What are my chances at top US universities?

<p>OK, so to sum it up, I have a good possibility at some of these schools, such as NYU (most importantly, obviously), Carnegie Mellon, Illinois-Urbana, Texas-Austin? Anyone that would like to antagonize this, or confirm this?</p>

<p>I would say you do not have a good possibility for CMU or NYU Stern. Possible sure, just not good as things stand now. Both reaches. Don’t know about UT or UI.</p>

<p>I’m from Norway too and I’ve also gone through this phase freaking about not having EC’s etc, but try to be creative!</p>

<p>Did you play any sport throughout high school that you still like? It doesn’t need to be at a high level. Visit some clubs in 3. or 4. divisjon(even 5th or 6th for that matter) and ask if they need players.
Do you play any instruments?
Local theatre(lokalrevyer elns)?
Student council/yearbook committee/russestyre?
Member of Røde Kors ungdom, unge høyre, natur og ungdom, sos rasisme etc?If so you have the opportunity to apply to be one of Norway’s youth delegates to an annual unesco conferance(plus several other UN conferances, but I can’t find the link I’m looking for, so I don’t remember which). </p>
