What are y'all Doing with your Turkey Leftovers??

^^^
Do you make your own sauce or do you buy canned? If canned, which brand do you like?

Soup day!
My technique worked well. Throw only the bones and skin back into the roasting pan and hit with 30 mites of confection roast. (add some water so drippings don’t burn) Dump those deep brown bones and scraps into the pot with onion and celery scraps and a quart or so of water.
Yum.

I put our turkey carcass in a large stock pot along with some herbs and spices and let it simmer for six or so hours. We now have “liquid gold” which we’ve frozen and will use for future soups. Yum.

Mom2collegekids, I use the Trader Joe’s brand. It comes in a bottle. They also have a green chile sauce that we use for green enchiladas. In a pinch, I have used the Las Palmas canned sauce.

Dang! How I miss Trader Joe’s!!!

I made my own version of Turkey Frame Soup today. Can’t find my mom’s recipe so just winged it.
