What are you doing this weekend- First Weekend of October

We have a large dog (Swissy) and DH and I decided to wash her at home instead of at the do it yourself dog wash place. It’s quite an ordeal- lots of fur and takes most of a bottle of dog shampoo. It’s not something we need to do very often, thankfully. We walked her around the block to start the drying process.

@CountingDown – I love Cape Henlopen Park. Usually, once a year we take a ride on the ferry to Lewes and bike the Lewes–CHP–Rehoboth–back to Lewes bike trail. One of my favorite things in the world. I’m so sad I couldn’t do it this year.

Sending best wishes for your upcoming procedure. <3

Today I watched Ohio’s Life and Legacy virtual celebration of organ donors with one of my closest friends. Her husband was killed in May when his small plane crashed shortly after take-off. He was able to donate his kidneys, liver, eyes and skin.

So many young people honored…it was a moving tribute to them all.

@Garland, it was 74 degrees there on Thursday, and LOTS of cyclists on the trails enjoying the sunshine!

H just suggested we go back this coming weekend for the day. It’s a holiday weekend, but I’m hoping crowds will be more of the beach walking/cycling variety than sunbathers (this more distanced).

@sabaray, good luck with the interview!!
