Most popular/easiest: English Literature (~50 people per year)
Least popular/hardest: Chemistry (~10 people per year)

Most popular- APUSH
Least popular- AP Chem

My school only has 10 APs, so I’ll just rank them in order, based on how many people took the exams this year. Keep in mind that most of the top students are in IB, so the numbers are going to seem very low:

AP European History- 28 students (The only AP I’ve taken); mostly comprised of sophomores entering the IB program the next year. A bit of a joke class, and it’s easy to get straight A’s, but it leaves us underprepared for the actual exam, and tons of people get 1s, with on average, only one 5 a year.

AP English Language- 22 students, comprised of kids who decided to drop IB English, and kids who take mostly honors classes.

AP English Language- 13 students, probably in the same situation as the English Lit kids.

AP Calculus AB (Taking this senior year)- 12 students, all of which are seniors in IB who already completed the two years of IB math. I’m pretty sure most people do well on this exam.

AP Bio- 9 students, most of which are sophomores in honors classes and AP Euro. I heard the teacher for this class is pretty good.

AP Statistics (Possibly taking this senior year)- 9 students, all of which are in the same situation as those in AP Calc. The teacher teaching this is relatively new, so I imagine the class is easy.

AP US History- 3 students, which is strange because APUSH is one of the most popular APs. Most kids take this in junior year, but the IB kids take IB History of the Americas, so it’s not nearly as popular as Euro.

AP Macroeconomics- 2 students.
9- AP Studio Art- 1 student. I had no idea Studio Art and Macroeconomics even existed at our school.

Most Popular: Probably AP Bio, we have 3 periods of it. Most people say its fairly easy not to much work but not a slack off class.
Easiest: Ap Stats, its basically a regular class you just get a grade boost
Hardest: Homework wise, it would have to be AP Euro. We would get about 3-4 hours of homework for that class alone each night. But content wise either AP Chem or AP Physics

For some reason, AP Physics is one of the most popular at my school, even though probably only 0.00000001% actually came close to passing the test…

Most Popular: AP English Lang and Comp
Least Popular: AP Chem and it’s prerequisite

Wow, I’m dumb. In my post, I said, “My school only has 10 APs” and then proceeded to list 9 AP classes. Whoops. Forgot to mention that my school is adding AP Psych next year, which will most likely be a joke class if it’s taught by the same guy who taught IB Psych last year.

Popular: World
Easiest: Psych (?)
Hardest: US History

Most Popular: AP Calculus AB
Least Popular: AP Music Theory
Easiest: AP Studio Art
Hardest: AP Latin

Oh, least popular: AP Calc BC

Hardest: AP Chem, BC Calc, AP Physics
Most Popular: AP US Gov
Easiest: AP Psych, AP Enviro
Least Popular: AP Chem

Hardest: AP Chem, AP Physics, AP Stats
Easiest: AP Psych
Most Popular: AP World History, APUSH
Popular: AP Bio, AP Calc AB
Least Popular: AP Calc BC, AP Physics

Easiest: AP US History; the teacher is super chill, the class decides when to take exams, and if you are good at persuasion you can ask the teacher to not give a quiz/homework (even though she only assigns HW once a week)

Hardest: AP Calculus BC; teacher is good but there’s tons of work.

Most Popular; AP Bio, AP Art
Least Popular; AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, AP Physics C

I meant to put AP Stats as one of the easiest, not hardest.

AP Psych, though it will likely get eclipsed by AP Human Geo, which will be offered starting next year.

I go to a medium-small school of about 1,000 students. We don’t rank that high academically. We have 12 APs offered.

-AP Lang is the most popular and easiest AP at our school (probably because of the teachers that teach it)
-APUSH is also very popular, and is quite easy for most students (good teacher)
-AP Bio is quite popular, yet is a bit challenging for some
-AP Art History and AP World are the joke APs at our school, the teachers don’t teach the class, they just sit in their desk and hand out free A’s for everyone
-AP Lit is pretty common, and pretty easy for most
-AP Calc, Physics, and Chem are the most difficult APs at are school, and few people take them
-AP HuG is the easiest AP and pretty much everyone passes the test
-AP Econ is a popular yet challenging class at my school
-AP Studio Art is an uncommon AP, yet the teacher is really good

Most popular: Eng Lang
Least: Calc bc
Easiest: stats
Hardest: Calc AB (bc is usually easier because you have to take AB first.)

Most popular: Definitely AP Lang or AP Bio
Least popular: Calc BC, Chem, and physics
Easiest: Psych
Hardest: Calc BC, Physics, or Chem

Most Popular: AP Bio
Least: AP Chem
Hardest: AP Chem
Easiest: AP Enviromental

Hardest: AP Chemistry or AP Physics
Most Popular: AP US Government (very easy, more people take this class than regular government)
Easiest: AP Environmental Science, AP Psychology, AP Statistics
Least Popular: Any foreign language AP. Dunno what else
