Yea, I got that, but how on earth did he have access to her medical records? Whoever provided that access could lose their job. People take HIPAA very seriously. Or is this another way in which the writers want us to suspend our beliefs?

Yes.

10 char

He works for the CIA. ;)

Not really a big challenge to get super secret files, would it? HIPAA be damned.

Then that might explain why Carrie was barely miffed when he told her he’d seen her records. Once she was in the hospital (and made reference to being there as long as the CIA felt fit for her to be), she should have known someone would find out about her pregnancy.

Am re-watching Sunday’s episode right now. I forgot that Carrie told Quinn that the baby wasn’t Brody’s. So was she lying to him, or is it really not his? (Full disclosure - I was pretty adamant that I did not want this baby to be Brody’s)

I thought the episode was great. Yes, it was a little unbelievable that they would both survive an IED that blew up the truck, but it’s tv and I don’t expect complete accuracy.

I thought the episode was great too. The actor that plays Brody does such a great job. I think the three leads are incredible.

I find the show nerve wracking because this is a show where one of the stars can be blown to bits at any one time.

I absolutely loved last night episode.

At the end when it was looking like Brody turned, I felt such a disappointment in him. All the while I was thinking that they just wrote him off the show for the next season. I kept thinking how could that be … and then … boom, he does not disappoint.

After so-so the rest of the season, I cannot wait for the finale next week. Let the first season greatness reign again!

I agree; another good episode. I don’t know how he gets out of Iran now or how he could return to America and fit in again.

I agree also: a great episode. One of the things that is so good about this series is that it recognizes the Iranians and other opponents as real people, sometimes idealistic, sometimes ruthless, but not foaming-at-the-mouth cartoon villains.

Speaking of cartoon characters, Brody has become almost a superhero who cannot be stopped by either side. I think Damien Lewis is an incredible actor (in that intense scene with Akbari, it was impossible to tell if the murder was planned in his mind or just spur of the moment), but Brody needs to go already.

Nooooooo audiophile. Nooooooooooo! :D

H is convinced that Brody will be killed off in next week’s finale. Like audiophile, much as I love Damien Lewis, I hope he’s right.

No. I want him and Carrie to live happily ever after, dammit. If he dies, the series is over, because their relationship is at the core of it.

I don’t think it is in the cards, even in the SERIES finale.

And that’s why this season up to this point the series were struggling to find its footing.

I wonder what is in Damian Lewis’ professional pipeline. If it is a lot of project, he might have been killed of the show. If not, then all hope is not lost. (The same goes for actors playing his estranged wife and daughter).

I like Brody, too, but I can see him getting killed. Not sure what they would do with him in a fourth season. Then Carrie and Quinn become the new romantic center.

Love this show despite the following random thoughts:

Does anyone think that Carrie will carry the baby to term?

no, it will be a miscarriage.

I too like Quinn. I don’t care about Brody’s family either.
