lol…ed hardy…

I can understand the validity in the pants/no pants debate.
I think leggings as pants are perfectly acceptable so long as the girl can pull them off.

The real question is: How chubb chubb is too chubb chubb?

Yeah, so the closest H&M to my house is several hundred miles away and even I’ve been to an H&M, one in NYC and one in Syracuse. Nice, very reasonably priced clothes. It seemed like there was a good selection of fitted clothes for the tall and thin, which was nice. For some reason H&M seems like they’re avoiding Texas. If they opened one up near me, I’d probably shop there on a regular basis.

I haven’t been to an H&M or Urban Outfitters either.

yeah, i dont mean to be mean but some overweight people should not wear rly tight clothing cuz its just not flatterring. there was a girl i went to high school with who was pretty big to be honest, but she would wear rly tight jeans and t-shirts. her jeans wear so tight the jeans would like fold in between the crotch and her thigh, it was bad. also he t-shirts were so tight they would tend to slide up and kinda show her belly, and one time she jumped and it showed a lot of her belly. i dont wanna sound mean but it would be in her best interest to wear some stuff that isnt so tight

If I could only buy clothes from one store for the rest of my life, I’d probably pick H&M.

I have nothing against H&M whatsoever, I just live in Texas and go to school in Tennessee, which apparently both seem to be from the same strip of area they just don’t seem to want to move into.

On the other hand, who the hell wouldn’t have online shopping? F21 and Urban both got a big chunk of my income this year from that. College kids don’t really have time to go to a mall and/or malls around them may not have the stores they want to buy from.

i think they might offer online shopping in some parts of Europe, since thats where the company is based (switzerland i think?).

@Caillebotte: I’ve never been to an H&M but I was looking online today and saw a jacket with feathers on the shoulder which really isn’t my style. I really like the styles I see at Calvin Klein though.

^ You have to realize that it’s a European company. What they put on their website is NOT necessarily what you see in their American stores.

Prom dress. Haha

your kidding? o.o

anyway did i mention muffin tops or those skirts that are to short to be considered skirts?

"those skirts that are to short to be considered skirts? "

those need to be worn more, yes.

plato’s closet=my sanctuary. I have gotten uggs there for $30, ray bans for $10, free people dresses for around 20, true religions for 45, etc.

I’d never even heard of H&M until this thread

I guess they heard our cries about leggings:

[Shop clothes for women, men, maternity, baby, and kids | Gap](Gap)

h&m is mostly just in bigger malls in more fashionable areas.

IMO the clothes are kind of junk though. It’s good for some stuff but it’s pretty crap quality and fits weird.

@HighLife I can kinda agree with the fitting weird at H&M. Their shirts come in dress sizes (like 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc.) and I can’t really wear their shirts because I have a VERY long torso and it seems their shirts only get wider and not any longer.
Also, I feel like well endowed girls have a hard time fitting into their clothes as well; I end up buying a shirt in like a size 16 because otherwise it’s too tight in a certain area, but it looks like I borrowed one of Jared Fogle’s shirts prior to discovering Subway.

But they are cheap. And I like their tights.

Free People dresses for $20? I’m going to look for that store. I wonder if there’s one in NYC somewhere.

Free People is my absolute favorite.

There’s a huge (or at least looks huge from the outside) H&M near Bryant Park. But I never went in.
I’m kind of curious about it now. I’ll see if I can drag my friends shopping with me this weekend.

My other favorite store Top Shop. I almost died of joy when one opened in SoHo. No more having to always order online.

I wish they’d open a Nordstrom’s here.

And yeah that’s weird H&M
doesn’t have online ordering. I would think they’re missing out on a large sales-potential.

^ Plato’s Closet is just a consignment store; it’s kinda hit-or-miss. At the one near my home, I’ve found a few things, but you really have to dig.

They just opened up a Nordstrom’s Rack about 15 minutes from me and I want to go so badly Too bad I blew all of my money on Dillard’s yesterday… oops.

@DCH: Jeggings were pretty popular on my campus in the spring semester. I want to try some, but I’m scared I’m going to love them too much and never wear anything else.
