I hope that’s not a copy/paste job from your app, FlyinV :-/ (your/you’re)

As the popular saying goes, we are what we eat. If this was your final meal before you inevitable demise, what would you eat, where would you eat it, and who would share the love at your table? Why?

Topic of your choice.

Badger: nope, that was the forum version :P

is it possible to see what ques i came up with? i’ve no idea as to what i submitted… and now i’m curious! :(

mine was: Are you interested in Northwestern because it reminds you of where you live or because you are excited to try something different from the place you have grown up?

my question was:

What is a pet peeve of yours and how do you pet it? Explain also, how can you get rid of it.

haha thats funny… college admissions ppl are always like what is something that deeply disturbs u… and all i can ever think of are pet peeves!

yeah. but think about your pet peeves. and think about how you keep them. like mine was that i hate unzipped bags, and i will zip your bag closed if i know you, or if i don’t i’ll tell you.

but that’s like petting it, y’know?

hahaha, prblms4loki, i love your question! i wish i had come up with it. my pet peeve is when people tap on the back legs of your chair in class while you’re trying to take a test. i always make sure i sit at the back of the classroom for tests just because i’m afraid that someone will do that and it’ll drive me to complete distraction.

my question was, what is something you often think about that you believe no one else thinks about?

haha…my question was NOT great at all…I literally came up with it the night before the whole app was due…so don’t judge me! =P

If you could give yourself a nickname, what would it be and why?

It seems kinda lame and unoriginal now that i look at it, but hey…I got in so I’m happy lol.

Mine is so stupid. I don’t remember exactly how I put it, but it was something like this:

On an episode of Crossfire, Jon Stewart replied to Tucker Carlson’s chides with: “No, I am not your monkey.” Think about a time when you were pushed around and had to stand up for yourself. Why did you do it?

Or something like that. __

ha, touchthesky, i got so confused when i saw your user name. shhh don’t tell northwestern im that ditzy

lol, it’s okay =)

mine was:

In Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad, Marlow confronts the powers of darkness of the Congo and comes out a stronger. Describe a time when you encountered a form of darkness or evil. What did you learn from it?

so messed up… hope i get in.

Oh SNAP that’s a good one! I read that book much too late, after the Northwestern app was due. That’s an awesome, AWESOME question.

holy crap that question is grammatically incorrect i seriously hope i didnt put it in online like that T_T. i realize this week letters get sent. THAT’s GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT!!

oh it’s just the one word a, if it was like that on the app, they might not even notice it. but i know how nervewracking that feeling is–i found all these tiny mistakes on all my apps even tho i felt like i proofread them a million times. i think they’re unavoidable. it’s a good question–i don’t think that the ‘a’ would make a difference. (am i missing a bigger mistake?)

no its the “a”. i dunno after all the proofreading i think i should have caught that, it just annoys me i guess
