^Hahahaha, good advice…

“Ask that cute girl to the dance…”
“Don’t use the internet too much… Facebook + CC=ultimate timewasters…”

learn your dang math! don’t you dare put those B’s in Algebra I on my high school transcript!

study for that AP Euro exam. please. do me a favor.

being “cool” doesn’t matter. it really doesn’t. just be a good person.

go get closer to God now. don’t wait. you’ll always regret all those wasted years without a good relationship with Him.

hold on to your friends. don’t stop talking to them, even when you move states a few times. you’ll eventually start talking to them again, but you’ll regret the wasted years.

don’t be shy. try to keep the extroverted attitude that you have now. you’ll wish you had it later.

get a lot of sleep. then when you are sitting up doing APUSH homework at 3 a.m. you can remember the good old days when you would be in bed already.

don’t get addicted to facebook. or CC. or any websites. they are a very effective procrastination tool.

“You’ll learn that people don’t matter. Don’t get close to anyone because ultimately they always end up stabbing you in the back, so just save yourself the unneeded pain.”

“Don’t believe others when they say you’re crazy for taking the ACT a 3rd time. As the stories say, 3rd time is the charm.”

“Just avoid all the boys, they’ll confuse you, make you cry and in some cases ruin your grades. Except for Zack-he’ll make a good memory no matter how you might regret it.”

“Yes, it will all hurt just as much as it does then. The big difference is that these 5 years will make you stronger, more down to earth, and more real person. And trust me, those things are well worth the pain.”

“honey, in 6 yrs you’re still gonna be fat, but you’re definitely not ugly; things won’t get much better for you until after high school; you’ll still be socially ■■■■■■■■; you’re smarter than you may think you are right now”

-Work harder now…don’t start junior year.
-Avoid “dating” in middle school, but take risks once you’re a little older.

Eight years ago:

Nothing you do in middle school matters, you can raise hell for all those jerks and get away with it because you’re too young for any serious consequences. The worst that will happen is that Mom will slap you with whatever she can grab and curse you out for a few hours because you got suspended/expelled. Suck it up. Deal with it, that’s nothing compared to having your self-esteem blown till this day.

Talk to your Grandpa more often. Call him to have a meaningful conversation before April 30, 2003. Realize how much he loves you before it’s too late.

Ignore what the mean kids say about you. You’re not ■■■■■■■■ and insane; you do not deserve to be a laughingstock. Study hard to prepare for high school and eventually get into the college of your dreams. You’re in all-honors for crying out loud! The next time someone cries, “■■■■■■!” or it’s variants tell them you’re an honors student.

I know that you’re an introvert and naturally a loner, but please make an effort to socialize. If someone is kind, take their hand in friendship as it will close the void of loneliness you feel. If you don’t do this you will become sick and fulfill the bullies’ prophecy.

Forget the past and remember that there is no one out there that will sweep you off your feet and solve all of your problems. There is no one out there to complete you. Stop daydreaming about this and learn to live in the moment. Get grounded in reality.

Listen to your mother, even if her words are too harsh sometimes. She has great advice about being socializing and giving yourself a good impression. Listen to your dad despite how he tends to lecture, he is very practical and will give you cerebral ideas for your convenience. You may not realize it yet, but your family really does care about you.

Do not get addicted to the Internet. Real life is more exciting and meaningful.

hmmm,
“life is great right now that you’re in seventh grade. keep your girlfriend now so you dont become lonely. Enjoy life. Now, wait until your in eighth grade to worry about the SAT. go to collegeconfidential.com. STUDY STUDY STUDY. TAKE ALG 1!!! but most of all, it will only get harder from here. take advantage of every opportunity. you’ll be somewhere someday. oh, and develop some good study habit, you idiot twit!”

Don’t worry, you are going to end up wayyy cooler and more interesting than ALL your friends put together. So, your insecurity will definitely pass.

Helping people out is NOT nerdy or a loser thing to do- no matter how much Ma says it is. Helping people is going to become your passion in life- the only thing you’ll ever need to survive high school, so don’t shy away from it.

Oooh and your sister back stabs you on the day of your 10th grade graduation. Forgive her and never expect anything from her EVER. She’ll never pull through for you.

“STOP wishing and hoping for bigger boobs right now- they will turn out to be extremely bothersome.”

develop good study habits asap.
and study for sats.

don’t make a mountain out of a molehill.
life’s too short for that much drama.

Be cautious of others

Sometimes it is worthwhile to look good- it makes you feel more confident. And you’re more social than you think- make the best out of what you have in high school.

Also- save money.

Make friends now, because when you’re a junior and virtually friendless, you’ll think it’s too late and wish that you would’ve done it in sixth grade.

Mom will be okay, and stop worrying that you are going to get breast cancer too. You still might, but it’s not genetic for us.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR VIDEO PRODUCTION NEXT YEAR. If you do, you will get a D and cry for like three weeks.

Try to stop liking him. If you don’t stop, you’ll destroy a friendship at the end of freshman year and when you do end up dating him as a sophomore, he will turn out to be a complete and utter jerk and you will spend most of the rest of high school hating him. He’s better as a friend. Seriously.

Next year when your math teacher suggests you study 8th grade math over the summer and take Algebra I in eighth, do it. You end up regretting it in high school otherwise.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Just do it. Please.

August 13, 2007–when your best friend says she wants to spend this week alone, let her. Don’t tell her to “Go die.” You know that stuff junior year I was talking about? Yeah, some of that can be avoided if you just be nice.

September 17, 2007–don’t let Dad ride his bike to work or, if he must, make him wear a helmet.

Father’s Day 2008–Buy Dad a present.

nothing, I have no regrets (yet)

-abercrombie is not the coolest thing on god’s green earth.
-stop stressing so much about grades. no, you won’t go to your 6/7/8th grade teachers for recommendations and no, your grades don’t count for crap toward college.
-talk to more people.
-don’t be so shy and quiet
-let your hair down (literally)
-stop hanging out with those kids. they may not be the worst influences, but they just aren’t you. too much backstabbing and useless drama
-stop listening so much to your parents. they’ve stolen your personality and individualism, but you might be able to get it back before you’re an individual-less sophomore.
-care more about fashion and makeup while you’re so young and don’t need to worry about stuff
-nothing you do counts. don’t be so conservative and quiet.
-do anything and everything you want to do.
-don’t be self-conscious.

you’re in high school. it’s okay to be second-author on a paper even if you did do all the work. plagiarism sucks, but quit intriguing for first-authorship because it’ll just make you never want to do research ever again.

by the end of high school, you will have everything you ever wanted, and none of it will be a reason to live. you should work less and actually have friends. the whole reason we’re here is for the people we love.

don’t contradict teachers just for the hell of it, it’s not cool and it doesn’t make you look smarter. for that matter, quit caring about how smart you are, it doesn’t really mean anything

get enough sleep. staying healthy is more important than getting assignments done. besides, if you set limits on yourself you’ll learn how to not procrastinate before you go to college, and that’s useful.

talk to your mom once in a while, she’s really not as evil as your dad says she is.

don’t worry about it

because it gets so much worse.

find the cure for cancer.
get 1st place in everything, USAMO,USAPHO, etc.
study 24/7
