What's for dinner at your house tonight?

Fresh Haddock poached in a butter and white wine sauce with fresh broccoli last night.

Tonight is a TV dinner from the freezer while watching football. The beef short ribs braised in red wine that I cooked a couple of weeks ago. Probably do some frozen lima beans with it. My version of Swanson’s Hungry Man dinner!

DH made spinach ravioli with pesto and broccoli last night.

Tonight, we’re celebrating DD’s 17th birthday at a Thai restaurant in town, yet to be determined.

Gluten-free Meatloaf using mushrooms as a binder instead of bread crumbs – new recipe. Deciding whether to bake it or try the slow-cooker method.

BF is convinced that since there’s no snow on the ground, it’s not really that cold out and there’s no reason not to make TONIGHT the last burgers of the season instead of last weekend… it’s 20 degrees outside, but I am not going to correct him. :)

We’re going to have breakfast for dinner----PANCAKES w/side of bacon.

tonight will be flank steak with a dry rub , chimmi churri sauce , green salad and crusty french bread. I have been cooking up a storm this weekend. I made chocolate waffles with chocolate ganache for my daughter and her friend this morning

I am making Thanksgiving tonight.

Ribeye steak with mushrooms, baked potato and broccoli slaw salad :)

Leftover Fancy Chinese tonight. actually had an early dinner - on weekends I usually do a big later breakfast and then an early supper - love that schedule!!! Not the dinner item but so you don’t think I’m too much of a slouch, I made KILLER chocolate chip scones this morning!!!

Beef tenderloin was on sale today. Am now the proud owner of 6.6 lbs. Have 8 steaks and the rest is currently being cooked in the crockpot as beef bourguinion.

Chicken and wild rice bisque.

Herb crusted pork roast with Haricot Verts, or hardcore verts as my husband calls them, lol!

We ate with our neighbor tonight…crab cakes made from crabs he caught off the end of his pier. Fun fact: It takes 22 crabs to make 6 crab cakes no filler…all crab…yum.

Holy salt demons ! My dry rub was tasty , but the recipe called for way too much salt…great taste , but next time I will cut it in half. We will be drinking a lot of water tonight

Moroccan chicken with lemon and olives, couscous, and roasted asparagus.

BEAUTIFUL sunny day. I need a respite from what has been a cold winter(for us). Pork spare ribs and veggies on the grill and potato salad.

Am going to do sweet potatoes the Ina Garten way – peeled, sliced and steamed then mashed with a little half 'n half, butter, S&P. Will bake some salmon and saute some spinach and toss with a little feta. All stuff I’m craving.

Sewhappy, that sounds delish!

Oh how I love Ina ! I just organized my recipe file on my food network recipe box . Now I don’t have to guess where my recipes are in chronological order.
I am making veal chops tonight with roasted potatoes

Another Ina fan. I also like a lot of Giada’s recipes.
Last night I made a variation on the Fajatas recipe InterestedDad posted. The grocery store I like to buy my chicken has sells boneless breasts that they run through a slicer. The pieces look like the whole breast but they are actually already in strips. Heated a bit of oil in a large oven proof skillet, cooked breasts strips that I sprinkled with cumin, cayenne and ancho chili powder. Removed chicken when done, added onion, red pepper, yellow pepper. Cooked a bit added back the chicken and added 1/2 bottle of Trader Joe’s Green salsa. Removed from heat, grated sharp cheddar over top and put in oven on broil for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
Served over quinoa with a side of refried beans. Strange as the quinoa sounds it was actually good. H mixed his all up and used a flour tortilla to make his a burrito.
I don’t know what I will make tonight. I get tired of figuring out what to make. This thread gives me some new ideas.
