submitted 1/6/24, still “in review”.

My S24 was done on 1/3/24 and just processed in the last 2 hours. His SAI was $150 higher than the January estimate.
S22 was done on 1/4/24 and still in review.
The original estimate gave both an identical SAI even though the assets were lopsided.
Furthermore, the SAI is about 8K less than the EFC from last year.
Processed for us too. But theres a red box on top stating check back for online corrections. Does anyone else have this box?
yes, I’m assuming everyone will have that to give people the heads up that they can correct if needed.

FSA is proceeding slowly with processing. Don’t be alarmed if your FAFSA is still in review. It will be processed soon. As of today, no one can make corrections; hopefully, that can be done by April 1. Also, some schools are getting some FAFSAs. Don’t freak out over that … no one who already filed is at a disadvantage compared to those whose FAFSA has been sent to schools. This is an intentional slow ramp up in order to minimize issues.

Under the FAFSA Form Processed line with the date under it I get a blue box that says FAFSA Submission Summary.
It was in there.

Did you get an email when it finally processed?
I was wondering the same, are folks getting emails when the FAFSA is processed or when they are sent to specific universities?
My S24 processed today. His was filed 1/3. No email was sent/received to child or parent. S22 was 1/4 and his has not processed.
I didn’t get an email. I just checked on my own.
I started it back on Jan 2 and I thought he had done his part, it seemed via the email he received it was done on his end. NOW it says processed on my side and his side (Student) says I started it and invited him and it won’t let us do anything says check back for corrections.
mine say still under review but last updated was 3/12–so 3 days ago! What does that mean?
Lol I see you everywhere. Where it says “Updated on” whatever day, it just means that was the last time you opened it/logged in to look at the thing.
If it changes from “In Review” to “Processed” in the blue, then it will give you a summary and stuff

We had the same situation here! My son’s was submitted when I submitted my part, but I guess he hadn’t signed it! I’ve been kind of worried about it since January 9th when we submitted it, but there was nothing else we could do but wait to make corrections. The wait has been ridiculously long.
@kelsmom, what is the recommendation for the person who says she is “still waiting on my FSA number”? (A Friend just texted me.) I cannot remember what people are supposed to do in that situation. I know this was discussed a month or so ago.
If she’s talking about her FSA account, that should not still be outstanding. Is she a U.S.citizen?
