The penalty call was iffy but who cares. The team that should’ve won, won. Besides, what about the hit that Bieksa took a couple minutes before the penalty call…

I feel so out of place!

I feel so out of place!

And the Caps get the broom!

Didn’t watch last night, and didn’t watch tonight.

Finally the Caps will get a new coach (hopefully), which should’ve happened after the 3-1 collapse last year.

May 4, 2010. Sharks are up 2 games to none on the Wings as the second round series moves to Detroit. Game three is tied 3-3 at the end of regulation, and we go to overtime. Joe Thornton sets up the overtime game winner, and the Sharks grab the three to nothing stranglehold on the series.

History repeats itself.
History will be made.

All these 3-0 series heading for sweeps this round…TB, Boston, San Jose…

Caps fans are in a serious funk tonight.

I’m enjoying watching the Sharks play! (Even though I’ve never been a fan of Dany Heatley)

Look who is coming out for marriage equality:

I’m all for marriage equality, but I couldn’t stop laughing when I heard Sean Avery say, “I treat people like I want to be treated.”

We don’t have versus so I haven’t been able to watch the big wings games this round. I don’t even know what’s going on at the moment.
So sad!

So sad is exactly how I’ve been feeling about the last two Wings games, but you, Emaheevul, no doubt would feel the opposite if you had seen them. :(

Yay!
I am not holding my breath, though, the red wings do not play their best when they are hanging on by the skin of their teeth. Even if we made it through this round I’d be really impressed if the effort didn’t wear us down too much to win the next. We shall see!

I’m sad right now, but so proud of my Preds … it was a great season!

I’m sad for David Poile and his team. I haven’t enjoyed this second round of games as much as I did the first round. I’m hoping the next round gets exciting again! Here’s hoping for the Sharks tonight!

Sorry - Go Wings!

Go Sharks! And Splashmom, sorry about your Preds. I was rooting for them too.

I was pulling for the Preds too. I’m mainly a Caps fan but one of my former baseball players works in the Preds front office.

I think I’m going to stop cheering for any team. These are the teams that I’ve rooted for, as the series have progressed so far - Pittsburgh, Montreal, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Nashville. Only Tampa Bay has won their series. Dare I continue to root for the Sharks?

Hey -
Sabaray, UMDad, and Emaheevul:

IT’S NOT OVER YET!!

Go, Wings!

How about those WINGS??

My H grew up outside Detroit & both Ss are Wings fans–now that the Flyers are out, guess I’ll root for the wings. (I always find it disturbing, though, watching those hapless octopus being removed from the ice . . .)

Wings win last night was the best thing that has happened to me in weeks! Saturday I had to put my much loved dog to sleep - he always watched games with me and leaped up with excitement everytime I shouted at the television. Needless to say I was shouting a lot during the third period last night and I like to think my pal had something to do with the win.

Who wants it more? THE WINGS DO!

With your track record, YES, PLEASE DO. :P

I hope FSN will have Game 7! I was pleasantly surprised that we got to watch last night’s game, I thought it would only be on versus.
