@M Music Ed :)

@sassystage Were you at the ED auditions perchance?

@Winnie–yes Columbia…it’s in the upper west side.

okay so for the people that did get the newsletter, when did you get it, what state do you live in, and did you ever sign up for information?
I know a lot of you guys live in CA. So did you get this by snail mail or email??

I attended ED auditions on the first Sunday…Was that the 7th? I’m not sure.

Ughhhhhh I just want to know! :O

What?! There was a newsletter?! Wow, I feel out of the loop. And I’m still freaking out. As always. I’m tempted to post my stats for reassurance, but I don’t want to keep bugging people with that. I mean at this point, it really doesn’t even matter…kelspdsjbsjwkskspdojd

Oh wow - this thread just doubled in size overnight! Well I still can’t log into Albert and its been about 24 hours. I think it’s really over for me. I will be sending in my other apps today - fingers crossed I get into one of them!

I got LSPed do you think the offer is worth sacrificing some of my second and third choice schools?

@audrey: have u tried to contact the support IT of NYU yet?

@ sassystage!
DRAMA TISCH HERE TOO! 'cept i’m acting. i auditioned on the first saturday at 9am!!! ahggg ima PM you to talk about the aud.
CA + love of theatre + nyu dream = we better get in!!!

TAHUNGANH - I can’t even open the “problems signing in?” page in order to contact the IT support team :(

nicolep - we can’t say whether you should accept LSP or not. if NYU is your first choice school (which it obviously should be considering you applied ED) then go ahead and accept it. in two years you will be in the school you applied to and your degree will come from there so the LSP title won’t follow you around. but if you have doubts whether NYU is for you, then go ahead and decline the offer if you decide that your second or third choice is more of a fit for you.

nicolep- what are your second and third choices?

I must have seen some of you, then xD I auditioned on November 13th.

NYU was definatley my first choice but with LSP I’m going to have to take a lot more courses as electives to be able to apply for my intended major (International Relations) because its an honors major. I mean its not a big deal if I don’t get in to International Relations because I can still graduate in the same program with a different title but I’m wondering if it would be better if I just continue through with my other applications instead.
My second and third choices were George Washington and American. But stats wise according to my schools naviance I’m bellow average for NYU and George Washington anyways. I have a 3.6 unweighted GPA and got a 1900 super score on my SATs

nicolep- if i were you, id chose nyu cuz its nyu and nyc… and everything is amazing about nyu
but then again, im not u. its a personal thing… but nevertheless, you should stick to what your heart is telling u…
remember, theres no guarantess ull get into au or gwu either… soo…

and flute- what did you aud for? also, the 13? was that the saturday? which time did you aud with? PM ME!

@audrey

have you tried using a different computer?
have you deleted your cookies & cleared your cache, then tried again?

I really don’t think that not being able to log into Albert means you’re out.

@nicole: which school?

Magnificent - I can’t find the cookies and cache on Google Chrome! I’ve used diff comps AND diff internet browsers. **** this!

@audrey

that sucks
there’s def. something wrong with the system then.
I mean, if having your account deleted means suspension then I’m sure you wouldn’t be the only one on here, unless we all miraculously got in…

Okay I managed to log in :)

I guess it didn’t mean anything after all. Rejection is only rejection when I get the rejection e-mail. I’m so ashamed of myself - I cried my eyes out last night over a silly assumption.
