Who's ready for the PSAT?

oh dangg. were we supposed to study for this thing?

i’m a sophomore and my school hasn’t really talked to us about it…

I actually find the PSAT math to be a tad bit easier than the SATs math… just my $0.02.

Over 1 CR section today, I missed 2. Over 2 math sections, I missed 3. I think I’m doing okay :)

Ugh, I keep getting about 3 wrong on the math sections because of stupid mistakes :frowning: Like, reflecting over the y axis when I need the x, and outright filling in the wrong answer when I have the right one LOL.

Just scored a practice SAT (I was so bored…) and I got a score range of 2020-2290.

^Awesome! That sounds like your going to make NMF

Bump who wants to stay up with me to study?

Yeah I have a roomie, she’s a grade below me and I’m guessing hates on me silently…

Taking a break from a marathon math cram section… I can’t believe people are getting nervous about missing 3 problems, i missed 8 just in the math section of my last practice test and got a 64! I’m never gonna make NMSF at this rate…

^
8 wrong on math= 64? I thought the curves were much harsher…

Ehhh… I’m pretty nervous :/. Does anyone know what the cutoff is for semi qualifying in VA?

I took a PSAT today (the one in the book they give you) and got a 180, which is the same score as freshmen year and 2 points lower than last year :stuck_out_tongue: I don’t plan on getting a 40 point increase so I don’t bother to study as this test means nothing.

I’m panicking…

Actually relaxed due to being a Sophomore. Just trying to figure out last minute ways to boost CR xD

I scored a 181? my sophomore year with minimal effort/no studying. I was actually the highest score at my school…

My PSAT is Saturday. I plan on doing major Math cramming Friday on top of the studying I’ve already done. CR was a 71, but Math and Writing were in the high 50s. Hopefully I can bring them up.

Yep, tomorrow’s not going to go well.

FREAKING OUT HERE!! Not ready at all! Should I stay up and study or study for a bit then go to sleep?! (still haven’t even broke 180 yet)

Since I’m a Sophomore, I haven’t studied whatsoever for the PSAT. I’m not exactly worried, but anything under a 170 would slightly hurt my self-esteem.

I’m probably bombing it, amirite?

^ Count me the same.

I would study/look through the packet and do practice problems but my ap gov quiz comes first, sadly… I would rather be doing wacky math problems than cramming for a quiz, oh wells

So who’s staying up to study? Is this a good plan?
