You have great chances, I think. But you used abbreviation “HYPPS”, you’ll be banned :)

ur probably in no doubt. its gonna be tough to reject someone like you…

I just used “HYPPC” because I didn’t want a title like “Will I get into Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc.” Nothing intended…

Your objective data looks great. But there is almost no evidence that you have ever had any fun in your entire life. Even your activities seem like they required much hard work and little sense of humor. I might want you in my classes, but would I want you as a roommate? Fair or not, you come off as a driven, self-centered person, with no activities that show an ability to contribute to the class, as opposed to compete, with other students. Life is not a race!

hmm…interesting
i tried to show my ‘human’ side in my essays but i suppose it’s up to the adcom to decide whether i have an ability to contribute to the class…
most of my ECs required human interaction (naturally) & i’m living in a boarding school
would that change their opinion?

I think teacher recommendations would mean much. If they say you are a friendly person who likes fellow students and is well-liked in return and is not just a “brain,” that would be a relief to them. I don’t know if you are Asian (even though you are in Korea), but the stereotype of Asians in the U.S. is that they are insanely competitive and not exactly the life of the party. Like many stereotypes, even those that are terribly unfair like this one, there’s at least some minimal truth. If it’s not true in your case, let them know, as you obviously have the brainpower. Really, your EC’s look more like jobs than fun activities. Good luck.

boarding school? which one? I’m at TCIS

oh…
i’m at KMLA

i’m sure you’ll get in. I mean if they reject you, who will they accept?

yeah but as yalebound said my stats are good but colleges are more interested in my personal side…
i was so eager to show them my accomplishments that i never thought that they would think i didn’t have a life;
i should have put down some ECs i did just for the fun of it rather than only those i held positions in
