I received a cypher card last week! Does anyone have a guess as to when scholarship notifications will be sent?

Looking at last year’s threads, the 1693 letters went out in “early February” of 2019, if that’s any indication of this year’s timeframe.
My D received a cypher postcard yesterday with a really nice note from the Dean for Florida. She is really excited and we did not know W & M sent these…such a nice surprise!

@ruediww i have a 4.0 unweighted and 4.8 weighted gpa. i got a 1600 on the sat and i’m very involved with politics and creative writing! wrote my essays about emails and spelling grey the british way

Phew this post card thing was confusing so I was looking for clarification. Glad to hear that it’s a positive sign. My DD applied instate and we got the postcard with hand written note today. She applied RD so let’s see what we hear next.

Just chiming in to say that my son is 2023. He did NOT receive a postcard last year. He did however receive a “good things are coming” email a few days before his official acceptance. Unfortunately there is no real pattern for who seems to get the postcards. Just don’t despair if you do NOT get one. He got in regular decision and is thriving there. From a mom who watched for the darn postcard every single day! LOL.
