For 1500 bucks anyone can look stupid.
Check this out - this version does precisely what swimcatsmom was talking about - it draws attention precisely to the abovementioned part.
And it is a whopping $300 cheaper!

if it was $5, I’d buy it and wear it to work JUST to see people’s faces and see if anyone would say something :))
With a little glue and a feather boa you too can be a fashionista.
Finally I’m catching on. Nordstrom puts those items in and then has a contest for the best review.
Gouf, lol. Could be a fashionable solution to rescue 1214mom’s moths-eaten sweater…
And now I figured out they have a contest for reviews of just regular over-priced clothing too!
Maybe we could start “The Bag Collection” at Nordstrom. We can gather clothing from the “Bag a Week” thread…
$1090 for a Lanvin hoodie that looks like it could have come from Old Navy?

Dude, it’s still a hoodie…
Is this a mean girls thread?
It’s more like an emperor is wearing no clothes thread.
Really, no one is ever going to imagine that you invested $1090 in a “hoodie” - they are simply going to think it looks like what it is - an inexpensive piece of casual wear. And wear it to a business meeting?? Certainly not when everyone else is in a suit. There are certainly a few industries where you can pull it off, but no one is going to differentiate that hoodie from one that costs $20 from the GAP or Sports Authority.
But the ultimate test is…would Heidi Klum consider it ‘fresh, modern and fashion forward’?
Is this the hoodie Pharma Bro had on when he was arrested?
Bummer. Pharma Bro apparently killed the hoodie:

I’ve actually bought a designer-label cashmere hoodie for one of my kids a few years back. But I think I paid like 30 bucks for it at Nordstroms Rack.
Love that BB!
“The dressed-down look has been seen as a power move by many young entrepreneurs. But it’s also come to represent a certain kind of social douche-baggery and Peter Pan immaturity. For many, this casual dressing — especially among Millennials — is seen as a raspberry in the face of both professionalism and adulthood.”
Ha!
I’m reluctant to click on any of these links. I had those lovely mommy cut off shorts display on my FB advertisements. haha
As long as we’re talking about hoodies, lol: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/inflatable-sleep-hoodie-hypnos_568a74c5e4b06fa68882c43f
