I always think of Judith Lieber purses as being like Faberge eggs: I love to admire them, but I’m never going to have one. I regard them as objets d’arte. I have the same kind of admiration for some gloriously fantastical Bulgari necklace, or some of the incredible objects made from baroque pearls or crystal, gems, and gold I’ve seen in museums.

I have a friend who was in a relationships with someone connected to Judith Lieber co. She received at least a dozen bags as gifts. Gorgeous, but not exactly designed for everyday use.
