Would you be so kind

So sorry to hear about your Mom, ZM. Our family is sending positive thoughts your way.

Sending all good thoughts your and your mother’s way. Do take comfort as needed in the many wonderful and inspiring posts by Epistrophy. I’m sure there will be more.

Zmom:

Good vibs and healing thoughts winging your way from SoCal, the land of the Beach Boy’s “Good Vibrations.”

kind thoughts to you and your mom.

zm, sorry to hear about your mom. Sending good vibes to you and your mom.

zooser - sending you a pm

ahhhh, zmom…sending healing thoughts and prayers your way!

pm didn’t work - best to you and the girls as you fight this.

Probably more on this thread later. 16 years after diagnosis and they try to call me a survivor but I hate that term, too much the victim… but many of us are out there praying for your mom… like I sign off on my kid’s email:
love you,
more later

ZM, that news just stinks. Have had loved friends/family with a similar diagnosis, and it’s tough to get the news and just as tough to share it. Sending healthy, positive thoughts your way. Remember, cancer is a family disease and it’s not just your mom who will be affected. Share here or wherever is comfortable and take care of yourself as you help take care of your mom.

Just noticed this thread, zoos. Let me add my voice to the chorus, as well as my thoughts and prayers that your mom realize the best possible outcome from this diagnosis. You also, are in my thoughts and prayers, dear friend. Remember to take care of yourself, as others have already so wisely admonished. Eat well and get proper rest whenever possible. This has got to be hard on you, too. Hugs and Kisses being sent to you through cyberspace.

I’m very sorry about your mother’s diagnosis, Zoosermom. It is a blessing for her that you’ll be going with her to the oncologist and that her family will be nearby to support her through treatment and recovery. You are all in my prayers tonight.

Thoughts and prayers for you, your mom and the rest of the family…

Don’t know how I missed this post. My mom and her younger sister are both cancer survivors (mom - going on 15 years, aunt going on 21.)

You and your mom will stay in my thoughts and prayers.

zoosermom - thinking about you and your mom. When my mom was diagnosed 10 years ago, someone gave us a copy of Dr. Susan Love’s Breast Book. It became our family “breast bible” - a great reference to help us understand everything we were hearing from her doctors. I believe you can get an up-to-date version from Amazon.

I really can’t tell all of you how much the kind words and wishes mean to me. Your friendship is priceless.

zoosermom, while undergoing treatment for breast cancer this fall/winter I have found the website [BreastCancer.org - Breast Cancer Treatment Information and Pictures](http://www.breastcancer.org) to be invaluable. There are many on-line sources of information that are not helpful or accurate, but this site is excellent. In addition to having information of all aspects of diagnosis, pathology reports, procedures, types of bc, recovery, day-to-day issues, etc., the “discussions” on specific topics feature compassionate, articulate and helpful postings for women and family members with personal experience. The quality of the postings and advice is on par with the most compassionate and helpful of cc. You and your mom will be in my thoughts. There is plenty of support for both of you out there/here. Be sure to use it. Take care.

Zipyourlips, thanks very much. That’s a great link.

I hope all is well with you and I will keep you in my thoughts as well.
