I hope Harry keeps his beard - he still has it today. But I’m partial to beards. My husband has always had one and one of my sons has a beard too, kind of like Harry’s. A beard looks good and sexy on the right person!

Hey, last minute stuff happens and the royal family might want to save a buck just like anybody else ! I missed my older son’s Eagle Scout ceremony because of my mother’s very urgent open heart surgery . Programs had already been printed and involved other kids in a joint ceremony. My son addressed my absence in his remarks and I’m guessing there could be some mention somewhere of the dad’s absence. It’s too bad he can’t be there.
Not a complete break. William does not wear one, but Charles does, and also wore one while married to Diana. It’s below his signet ring on his pinkie, but it is a wedding band.
And it’s certainly not solely a royal tradition. While both female PM’s have worn wedding rings, the last male PM to do so was Harold Wilson.
Charles didn’t want Diana having anything he didn’t have. If she got a ring, he got one too. Certainly wasn’t a symbol of his fidelity.
Charles is no saint but the pressure on him from the day one is something very few people will ever know . I am looking forward to the wedding!
