I see page not found. What do you see?
Were you asked idoc today? How do you know that is from yale?
We got notified from college board that one school asked idoc today either. But we are not sure really.
Assumption on my part but there was a change in Yale so I connected the dots. I could be completely wrong.
That said there was a change in my Yale FA portal today as shared in the screenshot. Hope this answers your question.
Oh. I just wondered many people knew which school asked . But i couldnât know
I got it. Thank you.!!!
Keep your fingers crossed, but I feel like they were positive about the answers you provided and taken further actions.
It looks positive, but portal astrology is BS when it comes to Yale. We went through this with D23. D23 was deferred SCEA. We had all the signs pointing to an acceptance, including the SID and info requested from FA through IDOC and email, but ended up getting rejected in the RD round. Itâs all good as she ended up at a college she loves now - Princeton. My advice is, stay positive, but donât get your hopes up. None of these changes on the portal mean anything really. Other than a likely letter, only an acceptance letter is a sure way to find out if you got in Good luck to everyone.
Same as yours. No idea what it is.
Great advice. Thank you.
Congratulations to you and your daughter on Princeton.
Princeton is amazing!
Then I feel like they collect this info for students who are close to getting accepted as well as accepted students. These close to get accepted students may get rejected or accepted according to situation.
I think they prepare fincial aid packages for all the applicants that applied for financial aid regardless of their admission status. I know it makes no sense to go through all of that work for every student that is seeking FA but I think most schools do it this way.
I didnt get that. Not surprised â everyone at my school has been rejected. No one has EVER gotten in in at least 15 years.
for anyone whoâs worried about interview invites, i just got mine today, so itâs not too late!
Has anyone gotten a Yale Likely letter this year that is non-stem? If so, I was wondering when? Thank you!
Sorry, but what does idoc stand for?
Document repository managed by college board which most colleges use to gather financial information.
I believe at least a couple were reported via Reddit, back at the same time a bunch were reported. However, anecdotally, they do seem less common. In fact, even the S (science) strike me as less common over the last few years than the TEM.
Certainly that would make sense, as Yale sends these out to get a jump start on competing for students it thinks might otherwise go to one of its competitors. And Yale is going to be naturally strongest already competing for Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences kids, but less so in Math and much less so in Tech/Engineering.
On the other hand, it is not like I am taking a representative survey, so it is also plausible that, say, the TE kids are just more frequently reporting where I could see them.
Traditionally, a number of STEM candidates are given likely letters and invited to YES-W.
I have not kept track of whatâs happening in recent years, but Covid must have interrupted YES-W routines.
The following is an article from years ago. Things may have changed. Just FYI.
Thank you for sharing. My child received an alumni interview invitation last night. Hopefully more to come for all applicants who wish to interview!
Good luck with interview if it hasnât happened yet. If it did how was it?
