My S20 was admitted in the first round from a school that doesn’t rank. He was direct admit to Fisher.
I hear some decisions were sent out today…can anyone confirm? My son isnt home, and I refuse to sign into portal for him 
I’m not sure if this applies to other majors, but when we visited Fisher in November, we were told that if a school does not rank, they calculate it. The said they use an algorithm. They need this because Fisher does take classes rank into consideration for those without a 30 ACT (1360 SAT). In that case, students need a 26 ACT (1230 SAT) and must be in the top 20% of their class for Direct Admit as freshmen. If OSU in general, is using class rank when making an admittance decision, perhaps they are using the same algorithm. Just a thought.

Last year, decisions came out Nov 16, Dec 14, Jan 18, and Jan 31. But this year we’ve seen decisions come out Nov 15 & 22. So, hopefully there will be more this Friday Dec 6. If not, I would bet on Dec 13.
- I’m still assuming releases are on Friday and that the ones reported here mid-week were from previous Friday.
What would be the estimated money given to a student with a 31 ACT and 4.2 GPA?

Called Admissions today and they said decisions will be released this Friday.
Are admissions released at a specific time on Friday? Or just throughout the day?
That’s similar to my daughter’s stats a few years ago, she didn’t get much help

@SaucyCollege @hsa0804 For the previous two Fridays that they posted decisions people started reporting them on this thread around 4:30pm/5pm and then decisions seemed to trickle out over the next several hours.
Good luck everyone! My s20 is anxiously awaiting results for several of his friends today. Try not to be too obsessed with the portal and remember there are more rounds to go!

does anyone know what time today decisions are supposed to be released?
During the first round, the releases started around 4:30. I would think they’d want to ensure students are out of school and not checking their portal all day (but they probably do anyway). My D20’s portal updated around 7:00 PM, or something like that.
@ruxiee, your stats are similar to my sons were a few years ago, and he did not get any merit money at all. I hope you have better luck than he did. Wishing you the best of luck.
