what is his major? Perhaps it is highly competitive.
Sorry to hear about the deferrals and denials.
Good luck to all those still waiting. Results tend to trickle out all night, so keep checking.
She applied to 8 schools and got accepted to 7 so all good! In case anyone cares, flat out denied with a 3.6 and 26 Act; came from a challenging private HS where her grades climbed each year. Pretty good ECs and worked part time. A little surprised it wasn’t a deferral but at least we’ve heard back from all her schools now so now it’s decision time.
did everybody get an email notifying them or just checked their app status?
Thank you for being a rockstar at providing accurate information and crunching the data sets when they are released on Mondays.

@gobuckeyeoc It isn’t only bad news in this wave, my oldest got his acceptance last year in the December wave. Hoping for the same for #2… no update to his status yet. His stats aren’t as high as his brother’s were.
Deferred OOS 3.54 1260 SAT
Son admitted … OOS… college of engineering… top 10% … 4.3 weighted gpa … 31 ACT
acceptances have started to be released. I didn’t hear
I got deferred but it’s not the end of the world. It’s my first choice school and it’s very close to home. Just note that if you are deferred it is NOT a denial. They are looking at your application again. Could it possibly be that my recent ACT scores didn’t get received until after the EA deadline?
Also, I got accepted to Michigan State not too long ago with a $60,000 scholarship and a $5,000 annual study abroad scholarship.
OU is also an option because I got accepted but it’s not one of my top choices
@ssam145267 I just looked back & my oldest got his acceptance after 8pm in the December wave last year. They roll out for hours, don’t take no answer to mean no.
Still Evaluation…
is the final wave in January mostly rejections?
I have friends who’s kids got in last year in January
I am sorry hear denial and defer, I just wonder those your Gpa are weighed or unweighed? I am also waiting hear for my son, his unweighed gpa is 3.67 and weighed 3.99, although act 35, he applied on 10/28 to bio med engineering
now my most worst word is “evaluation”, lol
Computer information and sciences. I was thinking it is in the school of business but it is not.
My OOS daughter just got deferred to next round as well. Will hear late March. She had 28 ACT and 3.677U/3.788W at very well regarded public NJ HS. She was within the green checkmarks on Naviance. She has 4 AP, 4 Honors, math through Calc, 5 sciences and 4 years Spanish plus 1 year of Latin, etc. The rigor is there. I’m a little surprised, but she got in to the school she was hoping for so it’s not that big of a deal. Good luck to everyone.
Daughter has been accepted. OOS. ACT 29, 3.97 unweighted GPA. Lots of leadership and activities. Yes!!!
2 friend’s son and daughter each of them applied last year for early action, full ride scholarship, honor accepted on last wave of January, in ohio state, so it doesn’t mean anything for accept on last wave
