“EVALUATION” is the word of 2020…ugh.
Just curious . . . according to OSU’s formal documentation 50% of students accepted in 2019 had ACT’s under 29 but I only see a few students with 28’s on this site acknowledging that they have been admitted and I don’t see any of those with 27’s or 26’s accepted. In fact, last year 42% of students admitted had ACT’s between 24 and 29. Are those 50% with ACT’s under 29 only minorities and/or athletes or do those with these scores just not pay attention to CC? This doesn’t make sense otherwise.
“EVALUATION” is still my lucky word today, …
i’ve had evaluation as well, applied mid oct
patience is rough
@Brutus111 you are correct that the regulars on this site tend to lean towards higher stats students. However, you will see a bigger range in accepted ACTs and SATs because GPA weighs more heavily in admission decisions. This is true at most colleges. Keep in mind That tOSU will be accepting about 25,000 prospects this year! We will see only a teeny tiny number here on CC!
Are merit scholarships only awarded in portal when accepted? Or is there a chance awarded later? OOS BFA Dance 1330 SAT 4.25 weighted. Xc captain. Dances 20 hours per week. Volunteers in dance program for special needs students. D got aid right away from USF
Should mention that D still waiting for UMASS amherst and we are in mass. OOS seemed to help with osu but not sure if she’ll be able to afford it
Good luck to you all!
I guess that only 100 plus enrolled eventually.
Great answer. Makes perfect sense

25,000 will be accepted this year? If true, this should make tOSU’s overall enrollment at ~100,000? From https://www.osu.edu/osutoday/stuinfo.php I am seeing it as only 68K (61K at Columbus). What gives?
@RaLaSrSa not everyone accepted to the school chooses to enroll…
@RaLaSrSa Not everyone who is accepted attends. tOSU’s undergrad population in Columbus is somewhere around 49k. Freshmen class is the smallest as many transfer in from satellites, CC’s or other colleges.
