Yes, could be a false alarm - much earlier in the day than previous waves. Possibly he had not checked in a while?

Can anyone share the dates being offered for accepted student visits (i.e. Buckeye Bound). I am hopefully (being optimistic and hopefully not jinxing him) anticipating my DS’s acceptance in the next month and would like to coordinate our trip to the Midwest this winter/spring to visit multiple schools in one weekend. (I’m a planner) However, until you are formally accepted we can’t see the dates for OSU’s accepted student days. DS has a 1480 SAT, Eagle Scout, 8 AP’s, HOBY representative, 3.9 GPA. Applied to engineering and to the honors program. TIA. Good luck to all the hopefull seniors.
Has anyone that applied to the Scholars Program heard back yet?
@NJmamabear595 We just scheduled our visit, and it was every MWF if I recall. We did an engineering visit, too, for 2/17.

Numbers above are from the ‘Weekly Report’, and show the number admitted to date for new first year students to the Columbus campus, 2019 and 2020 admissions cycles.
Reminder: Thru the end of January last year (end of EA round) there were just over 18,000 acceptances, and thru the full admissions cycle, there were over 25,000 acceptances. So, there are still a lot of acceptances to come.
Looking at the data it seems there were four weeks between the first release and the second. If that were to continue that would make this Friday the fourth week since the second release… One can hope and read the tea leaves to divine any clue that could end the weekly waits.
Do you recall or have the data from last year to know if tOSU released EA decisions twice in January 2019?
@smgins Last year, decisions were released on 1/18 and 1/31.
Hi, for the regular apply, my S has his final scores of 27 ACT and 1330 SAT. Since 1330 SAT is equivalent to 29 ACT, he sent 1330 SAT not 27 ACT. Do you think he also needs to send 27 ACT? Thanks
