I also just finished watching and teared up at how happy Rob and Corey were to make it to the final 3. D22 is watching with her roommates and she says they all have a crush on Corey , I can see why
Such great and relatable teams this season. I like all the final three, though the brothers seem to need the money least of all, so I wonāt be rooting for them. But they are incredibly likable.
I also think that somebody out there will step up and get the service dog, at least I hope somebody will.
Another Instagram post tagged Coreyās account - corey11m - if they want more Corey content for their crush. Also pictures with his mother and younger brother.
Like all three teams in the final - not often that happens. Iāve been happy that the teams this time around seem to help each other out and appear friendly, rather than being cut-throat.
Looking forward to the final - hope they have a good memory challenge! I always enjoyed those.
I havenāt been paying attention to who has been doing each road block but I think Rob will do the last memory challenge. I think heās really a bright guy (memorized that poem and either had to spell out each word or know the sign - impressive)
I totally thought watching tonight that the brothers probably parents on CC. they seem very educationally polished.
Agreed! Letās get a little girl a service dog!
Not sorry to see Annalise and her dad go. I thought we were going to lose him in that cold plunge!
Actually, the fact that there was ātactileā and āwordā memorization might actually have benefitted him.
Some people retain better by writing, rather than just reading. Along those linesā¦
I love the three remaining teams. Two of my daughters were competitive Irish dancers (one who world qualified every year) so that was fun for me to watch.
Driving a stick shift, reading maps, running an obstacle course, solving puzzles, bring it on, but anything involving dance/music/singing, straight to the back of the pack for me.
Same!
Itās kind of similar to college apps - the applicants on the Amazing Race have to be well rounded :). You donāt need to be the smartest or quickest, but you do need basic skills and no fears. Iād never make it as a contestant !
I liked how the beards kept with the dancing challenge even though it was pretty demoralizing!
The bearded guy both annoys and amuses me! Iāve come to like him/them more as time has gone on.
Uh - never saw Phil take a āholistic approachā
Actually, like college admissions, while the group needs to be well-rounded, the contestants are a mix of well-rounded and spikey.
I kinda wish the finale was 2 hours. What a nail biter of a finish, also I suspect editing was in play. As often, it comes down to the memory game.
I would have been happy with any of the 3 winning, but am still surprised who did win.
Back again March 13
How did you know 2 hours ago who won - here on the east coast, the final episode JUST ended!?
You are surprised? Iām not at all. They were my faves starting the episode, and once you saw that one of the scramble tasks was physical I knew they would excel. Even the final/memory task was physical so played to their strength. They were just all around a strong team.
Thought it was a very satisfying ending to a good season. All three did well on some and stumbled at bit on other of the challenges. Fun challenges with different skill sets.
Was also nice that all three teams were nice to each other and supportive.
Yes, all three final teams were strong and very likable. We were rooting for Rob and Corey but we knew Greg and John were the most likely to win, given their intellect, athleticism and all round strength in challenges. So not a surprise and Iām happy for them.
Ski, whatās the secret to being able to view an episode before it airs? Are you a CBS insider?
Or is Ski secretly āReality Steveā?
