I suspect that’s just quicker (and less embarrassing!) as a response than explaining it was went in error…

Well now we are impacted by the Eaton Fire (S25’s school is in Pasadena) so there will be a delay in getting the grades to American. We are safe and our house is safe but so many families at S25’s school are not - 1/3 of the school is displaced or their homes are gone. I am assuming that American is taking this in to account.

Gosh, I hope they are taking that into account. I’m sorry to hear all you’re going through. I would call your local Admissions Officer to discuss.

S25 did and she has an away message saying she is in Los Angeles and can’t respond because of the fires.

I logged on to the portal just out of curiosity and on the main screen and also on My applications Tab,
I found a new table with a new ID below the previous table.
Is everyone having this new additional table with new ID for your student?

Nothing different here! But sounds like if things changed on yours a bit things are happening! maybe coming soonish?
Yes! My son’s page has the new table with a number at the top and blank below.

They said that this year’s is a brand-new portal, so it looks like they still have some kinks to work out.

Did your students apply to honors or other programs? I think that’s what the new ID is for…

My daughter and her friends both say “no” under status…I wonder why. Both are extremely strong candidates

My son’s says the same. I think it means no other documents are required, similar to the other checklists.
It says No under the status as well
