Any Survivor Watchers?

Maybe it was just editing, but I would have rather seen Austin win. I’m glad it wasn’t an 8-0 vote.

Austin posted pictures from the finale viewing party on his Instagram. Jake and Drew look pretty much the same.

How long do you think these two will stay together?

CBS shared pictures as well.
Interesting dress.

Love seeing the pics - thank you! The one who shocked me with her post show look when I watched an exit interview was Emily! No idea she had all that long curly hair!!

And I don’t care how old I am, Caleb is still SO good looking!!!

I absolutely loved Katurah more every week when she wS voted out I was rooting for Austin.

I was never quite engaged this season, and I’m not sure why. It did mean that I didn’t care much who won (though I was slightly pulling for Jake, because I felt he was the underdog).

True, and Katurah had the chance to remove Dee and blew it. And for no good reason!
She pretty much ensured Dee’s victory with that strategic blunder.

After that, I thought she deserved to be voted off.

And she tried to put the blame on Jake. If he told her that he would give her the idol, she would have told others and he would have been voted out.

Sia gave her $100,000 to Katurah. She gave $15,000 to Kaleb and $15,000 to Jake.

Cable went down just as they started the Final Tribal Council, so we finally watched the rest of the show tonight. What struck me was that Bruce, who had no shortage of things to pontificate about during game play, did not, I believe ask the 3 finalists any questions, and other than a response to Jeff’s question about his blind-side, said NOTHING during the post-show.

Just struck me as odd.

I noticed all the season when he was in the jury that he seemed uninvolved. Never talking to a jury mate, no facial expressions reactions noted on camera and yes pretty blank at that final tribal. I found it odd.

Might have been edited out if his question/responses not very interesting.

My guess: he came in to the game thinking of himself as an “experienced” player, taking the “young ‘uns” under his wing. His gratuitous advice to the other players was (in his mind) mentorship.

Then the blindside completely p**d him off. (How could his ungrateful mentees do this to him?). After that I think he completely lost interest in the game and he was just there because he was contractually required to be.

Something like that cause he seemed to have no emotion. They barely talked to him at the after party?

Also how crazy that Austin was an alternate?!

I appreciated Kendra’s energy on the jury.

I am not seeing many photos of Dee and Austin together. However, I am seeing photos of Kendra and Austin together.

2 hours to start on 2/28!

Tonight is the night!

Gotta make sure the dvr is set!

I watched the episode - here are some of my takeaways

  • wow there are some really big tattoos on people in this group
  • lots of nerds- people in tech, gamers, etc.
  • the woman who is allergic to everything will not make it - how could they cast her?
  • the right person went home
  • same thing I say every season - I would never last (even if I were younger) - I like my sleep and food!

My first thought exactly.

Agreed. I also need to go back and rewatch the episode; did he say, a la Corcoran, “I want to be known as ‘Jelinsky’?”

And til “several means seven.”

I also noticed they dispensed with Jeff saying, “The gentleman in the back … What’s your name?”

The player who left was way to over confident in his abilities.

Two friends and I are playing a game this season where we each drew 6 players (losers buy the winner dinner). Kind of fun.

Just finished watching and totally agree re Jalinsky. A shame because he was an interesting guy–talked a good talk. But he was not a good player.
