Any Survivor Watchers?

There was a clip in the teaser for next week’s episode that showed Mary and Sai talking on the beach and Mary suddenly runs away while Sai calls her name. Wonder what that’s all about. Fits my conjecture about Sai low-level bullying Mary. If it got bad I would assume production would step in, as they did a few seasons ago with the guy who was acting creepily towards the women.

Two of the women who accused him later apologized.

Good blindside!

Craziest tribal ever? It confused the heck out of me. How does Probst keep all the rules in his head?

But I’m happy that Mary survived playing her “shot in the dark” and disappointed that Justin didn’t, even though Cedrick had already voted for Sai twice.

I’m excited that the teams get mixed up next week and we get a chance to see new teams. Now Mary’s and Sai’s promise to Cedrick to reconcile likely doesn’t have to take place!

Cedric saving Sai is going to bite him in the you know where I predict. Justin should have divulged his situation with Cedric – a none vote cannot be kept secret bc people are counting votes.

Agree with all that. I really think Justin had the potential to come alive in the game - he was playing it safe/quiet but could have been a come back/come around kid.

I also understand his reasoning for not telling Cedric - it was like a choice of two not great choices.

Episode 3 or 4 and I still can’t stand Sai. Love when Mary dishes it out back at her.

Another great blindside.

Another contestant misreading the room and going home with something that could have saved him. Once the idol was played, he should have known something was up because the 3 of them had placed their votes on Kyle. At that point Kamilla had control unless he stole her vote.

Why didn’t Kamilla vote twice instead of giving it away?

I believe if her vote had been stolen - she would have lost two votes not just the one. They thought the odds were lower that they would steal a vote from Kyle.

Kamila and Kyle played that perfectly. I also read online that if it they had voted for Kamila and if it was a tie she wouldn’t have been able to vote in the re-vote. So whomever was playing the idol should have the extra vote.

Ahh, that makes sense. Good thinking.

I know nothing about them other than what we have seen on the screen, but does anyone else sense a romantic spark between Kyle and Kamala???

Another very good episode. That must be such a bummer to leave a camp that had resources and then have to show up on the beach of the Motel 6.

That was some episode tonight. Loved all the good stuff happening for Eva. Bianca screwed up by telling Cedrick who told Krissy.

Just a WOW episode. I cried a lot of tears.

Cedric is the most unpredictable/unreliable person this season. I heard an interview with Bianca where she said the reason she told Cedric is because he specifically told her that Justin’s failure to tell Cedric he lost his vote factored into his decision to vote out Justin. That’s why she largely told Cedric her secret to continue to forge bonds with him. Cedric will vote you out (eventually) if you don’t have a vote regardless of whether or not you tell him.

It was a lovely episode for Eva but I think she’s in a really bad spot after tonight. Yes, everyone is rooting for her but she has two strikes against her now. The fact that she’s so closely tied to Joe (eg, power couple) and she now has a public idol makes her a really big threat. I don’t think she can recover from that unless she plays it immediately at the next tribal and Joe is voted out quickly as a challenge threat after the merge. Star was smart to get rid of it.

Don’t disagree with that for Eva but the way the chips fell at that challenge as most humans would she felt empowered to tell her story - only one person wins Survivor - to have a Survivor MOMENT though - well, not everyone gets that. I think both her and Joe accept whatever happens going forward with their game against others and with each other.

@Seanincal where did you hear Bianca say that?

Cedric and Sai remind me of Sol and Rome from last season.

They received such a big response from this week’s episode that they are re-airing it tonight at 8 pm on CBS. If you know someone who missed it or someone who might want to see it, please share.

Finally had a chance to watch last week’s episode and agree with all you are saying about the emotional power and the position Eva may be in now. Was surprising that Sai did not go home. I guess Krissy changed due to Bianca not being open about the lost vote. Should she have told them since after the tribal they all would have known anyway.
