Any Survivor Watchers?

Article was interesting and yes people love to root for a villain. We should bring them back!

mods, please move this to Zohran’s thread if too political

Not available to read to me! Apparently Vulture limits articles read - though I’m not sure what others I’ve read recently!

Great jury so far.

lol yes, except 2 of my Fav players! :sob:

Mine too, alas.

I really dislike Savannah. She has a certain air about her - and I don’t feel one ounce bad for the treatment she got from her co-workers if she acted this way around them! Also her “revealing” that she has an on-air spot - like she was a celebrity!!!

I feel like we are getting rid of people who don’t scream “big threat”. I mean sure MC was a challenge beast. Bet they missed having her on their team at the reward challenge! I’m not sure Alex was their biggest threat.

Rizzo is really taking a chance not to get burned by that idol in his pocket.

I don’t understand why they aren’t voting Rizo out!!!

My faves are all on the jury.

Rizo and Savanah (and Soph) are clever players. The others think they are in charge and have the numbers but R&S are manipulating them. Savanah is definitely building her resume.

One thing really got me on tonight’s episode. When Kristina began to break down at the start of the reward challenge, at first nobody was comforting her. Jawan had to push aside whoever was next to her to get to her and hug her. OUCH. It may just be the edit, but it seemed like nobody cared.

I just watched. I was glad to see Jawan go–I don’t think he’s the brightest lightbulb in the chandelier of remaining players. I would love to see his pal Sage go next.

And it seems to me that no one notices this. How are all three of them still in the game? And where are the next of the great players playing this season?

I loved the “no quit” in Christina during the reward challenge. She really pulled it together quickly.

A few kudos to Steven (Stephen?) who manages to squeak by and keep moving on. He isn’t a nothing player and one big move could really raise his worthiness in a final three.

Rizo and that fake idol. :scream:

Sage is the only one that seems to notice. And she plays ditzy really well which makes her less of a target.

Rizo has a good eye for strategists and is targeting them (note: I really hope that is the reason and not any other bias). I have no idea how much game Kristina is playing, but she doesn’t seem like a threat to win. I’m guessing next on Rizo’s hit list would be Steven. Then, they will probably turn on Sophie. Soph has been laying low. It would be a great move if, at the end, she takes Rizo’s idol over Kristina’s.

Did you watch this week? One of the things you mentioned can’t happen now!

I wasn’t sad to see Jawan go either. He got a lot of air time for someone who didn’t make it much past the final 10. Great blindside, too. He didn’t see it coming. I think that’s also what bugged me about him—he had this air of confidence that I find unappealing in Survivor. Also, it was difficult to look at closeups of his teeth. I know that’s ridiculously petty of me but they kept the camera so close on him all of the time that it became a thing I couldn’t stop noticing and thinking about how a dentist might approach it.

Are you referring to the fake idol? That wasn’t what he found in the chest in the water. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/3JIWWuh1eKY

Yeah, he still has a real idol
