Any Survivor Watchers?

No, I’m talking about Kristina’s idol. It’s not available to take - she played it.

Hahaha! I completely forgot that.

I think it would be cool to see Soph turn on Rizzo and grab his immunity idol at a tribal. But, I am thinking that won’t happen.

Interesting now that we are at 6 - with an even divide of 3 vs 3 alliances. I would love to see Soph turn on her alliance, play the knowledge is power advantage to steal Rizzo’s idol. I honestly think that is the only way she can win (showing a big brave move, not just coattaling the other two).

Steven’s block a vote could be used by his group to knock out Savannah (Rizzo has to play his idol - last time it can be used is at 6?)

Weird that nobody went looking for an idol this week, with Kristen having played hers, there should be one hidden again.

I like that both Steven and Soph have not blabbed about their advantages, every season I say why did you tell people you had such and such.

I thought the same thing about no one searching for an idol.

I agree that she needs to use her Knowledge is Power to grab Rizo’s idol. She has to make a move against them at some point. Then again, she was the one that was selling herself to Alex that she was loyal to a fault.

Did I hear it correctly that Steven’s advantage needs to be played before tribal? If that is the case and Soph uses her Knowledge is Power against Steven, he won’t have an advantage at tribal. Is that correct? If so, Steven’s acting and Rizo’s speculation could really mess up Soph.

I read online somewhere that yes, if Steven plays his block a vote before tribal, at that tribal he does not have an advantage.

Yes

If Steven has not activated his advantage before leaving for Tribal, then yes, Sophi can use her Knowledge is Power at Tribal to get the advantage. But if Steven has activated it, then Sophi is unable to steal the advantage, because it’s in play, even if the outcome is unknown.

Wow! Crazy episode! Why did they turn on Steven?!?! I am so disappointed!

Yes, was very surprised to see that even his allies voted him out. They believed Rizzo that he had to play his idol. I think the others all knew that Steven had a good shot at winning. Too bad his block a vote ended up being a waste.

Yep, I feel like Soph screwed up because she listened to Rizzo. She really should have stolen his idol. Had she done that, she could win the game. Rizzo without an idol would be immediately voted out. Not sure why they turned on Steven, it paves the way for Savannah to win it all.

Sage and Kristina believed Soph when she said she was ready to flip. They felt that Soph would be a better person to take to the final three than Steven, which is true. Soph doesn’t seem to have much of a case in front of the jury, where Steven does. It was smart of Savannah to take Soph on the reward and lock in her loyalty.

I guess she wasn’t sure everyone was voting for Steven. But even so, stealing the idol would still have been the better bet to secure her spot. And agree Savannah played the reward very well.

Finale next week!

I so dislike Savannah. I feel pretty confident that I don’t just dislike Savannah on Survivor but that I would dislike her in real life too. She is very not genuine in how she treats people or talks to them.

Messy episode.

I feel that way about Sage. I am ok with Savannah. Good gameplay.

Savannah is a great competitor because it is all about her. I was surprised that she didn’t care about her family letters. Good thing they added the comment later that she appreciated them. And, of course, we know how her co-workers felt about her. We hear Rizo referring to her as his #1 ally, but do we hear the same from her?

She will claim at the final tribal (if there together) that she had him wrapped around her little finger.

A bad move on their part. Knowing how solid the Savannah–Rizzo–Soph alliance is, they put themselves at a disadvantage. It was the perfect opportunity to vote out Soph and break up the alliance. They could have turned on Steven later.

Eva, the first openly autistic Survivor contestant from last season, is a doctoral candidate at Brown. She told the press that she left the building where the shooting occurred no more than 5 minutes before the shooting to go to the gym. Very scary for sure.
