SPOILER ALERT if you haven’t seen the most recent episode

I’m glad Kristina lost the race. The campaign was already totally unrealistic (daily polls? Hotel ballroom on election night? This is not for the US senate!) We have not seen baby Nora in weeks, Kristina is often a worrier about her kids, but she is able to sail thru this with no logistical problems?

I feel bad for Amber. I don’t think her situation is going to end well.

Still love the writing and the dialog on the show, but it is veering into soap opera territory.

I think Julia is very unhappy about being a SAHM as well, in her mind, taking the back seat to Joel. Her belief in herself was directly tied to her work and without her work she feels worthless…so now she insecure about her relationship and her parenting skills and perhaps also her legal acumen. I don’t think she could do anything right at the moment if she tried.

Though I would be sorry to see Matt Lauria go, Matthew Atkinson will make it easier to live with :-)

I finally got around to watching last week’s episode and wow, it was very good. I loved almost every scene. Terrific acting and I was happy to see that they didn’t wrap everything up with a neat little bow. Mae Whitman was terrific, as always. I have to say that I never liked the storyline with her and Ryan so I admit that I’m happy that it’s over. The scenes with Drew were wonderful. He makes me smile.

Anyone else note that Monica Potter has been nominated for a Golden Globe award for her performance in Parenthood. It’s the series’ first nomination.

How can Mae Whitman be ignored by all the award show voters ? She is amazing!!

Loved this weeks episode. How about the snarky mom at the playground who offers to vote for Kristina? :)

I still don’t see Julia contemplating an affair. She seems to be so committed to family and Joel all along. This is completely out of character for her.

I have Uverse and am able to watch Parenthood and other shows “On Demand” for free. I would imagine other cable/satellite providers offer something similar.

I watched! I really like Drew’s high school girlfriend. The college girl, not so much. I watched with my Berkeley freshman and he says that is NOT what any of the dorms at Berkeley look like. I did go in the bathroom on his dorm and they pretty much nailed that.
