Anyone watch Parenthood, the tv show?

It’s Official!

NBC Renews ‘Parenthood’ for Sixth and Final Season

Yea!!!

Great news! Another one who watches Scandal in real time and DVRs Parenthood.

Yasssss! Final season though… I’ll take it! Will Amber be pregnant? Will their charter school work? Will Joel and Julia get back together? Will Julia be pregnant (with the headmasters baby)? Will Haddie go back into hiding? So many questions. …

So many questions. They’ve got 13 episodes to wrap it up!

If they hadn’t left us hanging about Amber, I think they could have almost called it quits after the season finale. I need to know how that turns out.

I am delighted. 13 episodes is better than none.

I saw this article today. It says: “One of the things I wanted to do for the season was to find one larger story that influences everybody on the show,” he said. “The story is going to be introduced in the first episode and play throughout the season. It’s a huge new challenge for the family and one that we didn’t see before& In this case, I feel like I want to to do something that starts at the beginning of the season, by the way there will be as many story lines going on as usual, but this will be something that tracks us throughout the year.” Sounds interesting. MSN;

Vulture reported the same thing and suggested we would all want to keep our tissues handy during this final 13.

Season starts Sept. 25!

This caught my eye today: <a href=“‘Flash’ Season 1: Plastique Being Cast — Ask Ausiello – TVLine”>http://tvline.com/2014/07/22/flash-plastique-season-1-cw-cast-spoilers/</a> “Question: What can you tell me about the Season 6 premiere of Parenthood? —Daniel
Ausiello: Two things: The episode is, curiously, titled “Vegas.” And it will mark the introduction of a character that has me worried about an already-troubled couple’s future. The dude in question is named Chris, and he’s Julia’s ex-boyfriend from law school. Apparently, they end up working together at her new job.” Sounds interesting. I guess I am glad Julia is going back to work.

Nooooooo!!!

Say it’s not true! I was hoping they would get back together

you know, I was hoping also but really, Joel is being an incredible jerk about it all.

Sounds like two different story lines to me. A new/old boyfriend for Julia is not “one larger story that influences everyone on the show.”

Amber’s pregnancy could be that storyline, although I bet not. Zeke or Camille (or Sarah) could have Alzheimer’s, but I bet not that, too, because the show has already done cancer. More financial difficulties? The Laundromat, or Joel? Could Joel’s developer turn out to be a crook?

What could really threaten the family? A split between Zeke and Camille? A split between Crosby and Adam? (That would be my bet, if I were going to Vegas.)

Separately, anyone who has read the Boyhood thread I started knows that Berto (Nick Krause) turns up in one very good scene of that movie. It was tough to recognize him, because the scene was filmed 5 or 6 years ago, when the main character of the movie was in 8th grade.

I was thinking the Vegas title meant that Amber and Ryan elope.

I wonder if the big storyline is Zeke or Camille becoming ill and/or dying, and how that will affect the family. I am sure Julia and Joel will get back together…eventually.

They’ve only got 13 episodes to pull it together!
